9/8/2010 - Updated; POL fine, FFXI CTD (Used direct download found here)

Title about says it all. I updated via the direct download found here (thank you by the way, I doubt that is my issue and liked not having to wait 10 hours...) however now I find POL running fine, but every time it goes to switch to FFXI, it crashes to desktop (CTD). I'm running Windows 7 x64 (and never had a problem before this update). The occurrence happens on both my laptop and PC (both running same OS). I guess that it could be the DL, considering, but so many have been able to get in with it, I'm assuming it's a Win7 x64 problem. If anyone has ANY ideas, please let me know, I've run out.

I've regedit'ed both of my systems so that background and overlay are at max (1280x800 on laptop and 1650x1080 on PC) and I've switched them back to FFXI native res's, I've changed the res on the systems, I've ran with and without windower, I've ran with and without the SE windowed mode, pretty much anything and everything. Updated drivers on laptop (about to run in there and see if it helped... I highly doubt it did). So really, if you have anything, let me know, thanks.
