First cutscene at Tavern door in Sandy_s.
Wiki is pretty up to date on everything. I've been working on these with a group of friends since the servers came up, but we've been stuck on one of the sub quests on the Her Memories mission. Anyone have any idea on where to even start Operation Cupid? From the .dats it talks about Portia, so I'm guessing it's somewhere in the past, but we've literally checked everywhere.
Has anyone actually gotten past the Her Memories mission? I've completed all the ones I know of and have 3 large memory fragments but either I'm still missing fragments or I need to find a cutscene somewhere that fuses the pieces together. I've tried going through the batallia/rolanberry/sauromogue maws, talking to a bunch of different key npcs in sandoria, checking the walk of echoes, checking the new verdical conflux in grauberg, etc, etc. I'm stumped.
Same here as above poster.
found it, theres an additional memeries quest called operation cupid, get the cs for it by zoning into batallia [s] from jugner forest...ill update when i find the next cutscene
edit: next cs at bulwark gate in sauromogue [s], need a bottle of rice vinegar, a jar of ground wasabi and a sprig of holy basil
edit: just finished operation portia and it was the final fragment, for anyone that feels like making an update to the wiki the quest is
Her Memoires: Operation Cupid
-Zone into Batallia Downs [S] from Jugner Forest [S]
-Examine the Bulwark Gate leading into Jeuno in Sauromugue Champaign [S]
-Give Leadavox some Rice Vinegar, Ground Wasabi and Holy Basil. Leadavox is located at (J-6) in Vunkerl Inlet, and all three of the items can be bought from the tenshodo merchants in Lower Jeuno.
-Return to the Bulwark Gate
-Zone into Batallia Downs [S]
Awesome thanks. Checked all over batallia & jugner, but never thought of zoning in to batallia from jugner.
Once you get the maw CS, you need to go to Grauberg witch glenn and check the conflux with NO weapon equipped. Then it seems like that might be it for now.
Uhhh is there not another mission after glimmer of life? The wiki doesnt have anything whatsoever listed after it, and its got one of those bs vague mission descriptions that you always get when the missions for the update are finished. Wow, what a load of bullshit...not even a single battle in the entire set of missions. Just a bunch of running around all over the world 5 times over doing a bunch of subpar cutscenes. Severely dissapointed.
Just.... wow. No fights at all this time. Pretty weak.
This is clearly a case of them artificially lengthening the conclusion to WoTG, probably to keep the people who were waiting to finish the story before hopping to FFXIV in a couple of weeks. The timeline shown at Vana'fest had the missions ending with this update. All of a sudden, a few weeks ago it turned into the "first half" of the conclusion. You can tell that these 5-6 short CS missions were probably not intended to stand alone from the true conclusion coming in December.
Any idea if you need to gather all the memories from doing the quests or if doing some of them will be enough? Pretty sure philosophers stone will be a bitch to get..
This updates missions sure do seem like a filler but at least the cs in xarca wasn't half bad
Looks like you have to do all of them. Getting the last sidequest done automatically tells you to go turn them in to the capecat and adds the next mission to the log.
As far as philosopher's stones goes, I paid a steep panic price for one, and now there are 45 up and it's dropped back down, so I wouldn't worry too much.
I like how it ends with a really flagrant "go away and come back in a couple of months" chunk of dialogue with very shaky support. It definitely wasn't intended as a breakpoint originally, and I could easily see them editing it out when they add the next (hopefully actually final this time) missions.
Lilisette is a Digimon
That is all.
Is it possible to do all three quests linked to the three nations? I wouldn't want to miss out on any.
Don't think so. The mission ends once you have four memory fragments (one of which you obtain from nation in the past).
