This is probably not the best place for this but you seem active on these forums and are taking feedback. Plus this may be affecting more than myself.
On phpBB3 the subsilver2 template is having its text and icons shunted upwards within their fields when your syndication is included anywhere on my site. Perhaps something in the css is doing this? I don't know--i'm not a programmer of any sort, just know some php.
Here is fine
Any chance of a screenshot or url? That theme/forums script is pretty popular too, so if I can get it fixed for you that would likely save a ton of others the problem.
Awesome. Was having fun looking at item/monster names not yet discovered/implemented earlier. Thank you!
Thx for the leaves filter, now can you add another filter, for regional and local leaves?![]()
That's coming, but it's a bit more complex then the city filter. Once we have that all figured out you'll be able to filter by the class as well. Example: Local Carpenter Leves in Ul'dah. As an added bonus (this is almost done) we'll put a marker on the leve map to show you where you need to go to pickup your materials. Not exactly an awesome feature since it shows you in game, but could help you plan what order to do the leves in beforehand.
One day we'll do the same thing for combat leves to show you where the mobs you need to kill are, but since it's so obvious in game, it's pretty low priority.
Dynamis Project?Great times, started as an idea of some of us in CrazyChocobos (polish social LS), who would think it would grow as big as it did back then ^^
Awesome job on it guys. imo it is the best - and most well-designed - database website for FFXIV atm. Way better than YG. I'll definitely be using it a lot.
Yellow Gremlin is hideous, though I hate to admit more complete at this time.
Some Recipes are erroned tho
Missing shield abilities, or at least from an intuitive stand point.
Depending on where you want to go with this site (making it a hybrid wiki), there are plenty of things left to do. IE adding all the missions, quests, where to obtain lvl1 and other skills, etc, but thats a lot of work.
Site looks great though, keep it up. Hopefully this will become the main site people will use, very efficient.
Just wanted to provide a quick update on the latest changes.
We've just added a majority of vendors to the maps! This should prove pretty handy, and of course they link to the full shop details page.
We've also added a way of reporting recipes as good or bad. This was by far the most requested feature and I welcome any feedback you might have on how to improve that or any other feature.

I also just wanted to mention something that not everyone might know. The Archives is not a business, we're not backed by any gaming network such as IGN, Zam, etc etc. We're just some final fantasy fanatics! With that being said, you should know that this site is build just for you; so if you want something added to it, please do the community a favor and speak up! You can post your requests/feedback on the archives forums, here, or from the feedback tab on the database.
We're also looking for help. If you are fluent in German, French , or Japanese, and would like to help get the database multi-language ready, please contact me or any other Archives staff. This consists of mostly stuff like translating menu and theme text, basically anything there isn't a translation for in the client.
Cheers!
I am thinking you may want to add like a support crafts column or something. I tried a goldsmithing leve earlier and got a message that said something to the effect of "Your Clothcraft ability is not high enough for this synthesis"
Sorry I didn't think at the time to pay attention to what craft attempt or the exact message. But it does appear that supporting leveled crafting may be required.
I wanted to mention that equipment/tools/etc. should also have a section beneath them for if they are rewarded from guildleves (aside from used-in/recipe/sold-by/dropped-by). The only ones I can mention off the top of my head are Fishing Tranquil Paths can reward a Bamboo Fishing Rod, and Fishing Emerald Moss can reward a Willow Fishing Rod. Unless of course "Dropped By" includes leves.
All good stuff. Keep the ideas coming!
Local (Crafting leves) are now live btw.
I know still beta blah blah but could have more info about the NPC
As for now it says this NPC is in Limsa yeah great, but where is he in Limsa lol
