Does anyone knows if only Ephemeral Murex count for lights x10, or Ephemeral Amobae-something (green mini octopus) things work too? I was under the impression that any "Ephemeral" mob would work (In the new zones), but we've had 2 occasions where we decided to do do a mix of both since we weren't getting pearls from Ephemeral Murex, so we went with the green things, it didn't work as good as pearl from E. Murex, and saw a big lack of chests until we built pearl from normal mobs again.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but this odd gem happened when I was doing vunkurl quest "Scattered Shells, Scattered Mind" and got aggro:

Sadly, taurii do not cast magic. I'm thinking maybe it was the critical hit that caused it. That, or this is SE's way of making pup more popular. <_<

That message is displayed in /say, so anyone who was fighting an NM who staggered it would've made you receive the message as well.

not to mention that was the mob critting your pet, not vice-versa

that's also just the message you get for grellow, period

I suppose it's possible that it was another person that triggered it... I remember there being someone else soloing them nearby, but I think it was a dancer, so I don't see how they triggered it either. <.<; Plus, I was in the middle of these things, out of chat range of them as far as I know. No one else was in the area.

I guess I gotta ask, but I've never seen the stagger message so far after the spell landed. In my experience the skill up message is timed to when the spell lands. I can think of 3 occurrences for me when I got a skill up off a stagger, and the messages were exactly the same time. Even in the cases where there was no skill up message, the log variance always had the stagger message on the land and spell effect come after in the log, never reversed. (Similar to how you'll often see the stun wear off before the stun lands in log, since the stun wearing off is more 'accurate'.) There's no chance you had filters or another team was nearby that could have proc'd? I have no idea if resisted spells can proc grellow, the log just seems off to me~

No filters, no other mobs within 50'.

Restrat: Lv30 NIN leeching
Magikarp: THF mule, dead from sac pulling(lazy and unnecessary but w.e)
Thornspet: BRD/WHM, casting threnody, couldn't have been casting anything else
Thorny: MNK/WAR, no spells
Niniann: DNC/NIN, casting utsusemi
Athras: BLM/RDM, 99% sure he wasn't casting
Armlets: ~60 SMN, kinda hurp, was hastegaing for some reason at the time

I can pull up logger in a minute.

Edit: Pet's log has the threnody, Thornyy's doesn't. Possible I had special actions from others filtered on pet, idk. Ingame log tends to be screwy dualboxing but I can't find any hint of other actions in logger nor that screenshot.

Ok so major glitch found. I was going to time out inside abyssea so I pop a flee drink and run towards conflux. I click on the conflux and hit enter right as the timer went to 1, zone never booted me out. The flee drink has yet to wear over 7 mins and I can't attack things or talk to NPCs. I don't get cruor or EXP but I can lot items.

Do Ephemeral Amoeban/Limule/Pincer drop more potent azure light like Ephemeral Murex?
