for fuck sake.. these head seals are hidden well, I've looked all over, the only place I have yet to find a NM I can low man is attowah because of the shitty terrain issue and the whole maze of miasma, but I cant seem to find these anywhere :/ anyone?
So help me out please on Atma. Our abyssea group is too small atm to have taken down one of the initial abyssea quest bosses. Now we have the option to buy a similar abyssite for 100K, which will then allow infusion. Am I right to assume that only one atma can be active at a time? It appears if you have both, then two. Does this need to be activated each time you enter, or only when you change it?
From what I've read, it appears you can now buy some atma, based on quest/mission completions. Do the atma stats, for example, refresh, stack with gear or job traits? I.E. morrigan body, rdm reclic hat, etc.
Only one may be active at a time per lunar abyssite. So unless you get the visions one from quest bosses you may only have one atma effect at a time. You need to infuse an atma every time you enter if you want it's effects.
Traits should stack. I know refresh does.
So, was killing brooder and T1s, and in 5 brooder and maybe 15~ T1 kills, I got 4 QD kills on brooder, and 7~ on T1s, all gave pearl light. Now, this is a tiny sample size, on a tiny mob base, but after many abyssea partys of seeing dd kills rarely get 2 lights in a row it causes me to wonder. QD isn't listed on wiki, so thought I would ask here: Did SE raise the rate or pearl lights, is QD just good at getting them, or was it just dumb luck.
Sorry if this is oldnews, if SSs are needed I did take some from brooder kills, but cant post any due to less than 10 posts. (as a side note, DoT counts a pearl light also)
We farmed 2/3 Kukulkan triggers with 4 people (wivre-kite/nuke around photo quest guy and hyppogryph-evasion straight tank) going ~1/3-5 on key item, and killed ahriman with alliance (I see it killable with 6 people PLD/NIN BRD/WHM RDM/SCH DD DD RDM/NIN - make sure RDM/NIN has holy waters and Diaga-kite-depops pets.) 4-6 people kill those trigger NMs in 15min effortlessly. As for Kukulkan, gather all your people, grab as many BLMs SMNs PUPs etc from WG shout to fill up 18/18 and kite-manaburn around photo-quest NPC rock. Bring 5+ people with Stona and 2-3 PLDs or NINs. Kukulkan takes ~45min to kill with random people. The hardest part is buying triggers for wivre and ahriman NM, other than that you can easily pull this off with few friends who know their job. For each Lunar abyssite you possess; the Atma Infusionist will allow you to infuse your current visitant staus with 1 atma. Atma are key items which you possess they are obtained by defeating NMs or purchase from the Atma Fabricator.
So far everything in abyssea that provides a bonus stacks with other abyssea things that provide bonuses. For example; having multiple abyssite of merit increases the hp/mp from the purchased enhancement buff.
With regards to the QD Question: It is my opinion that any kill by a JA (Be in Quick Draw or Blood Pacts) do count more regularly towards pearl lights. I've had too many parties where the build up of pearl was random, unless I went on Smn or Cor and purposefully tried to get the killing blow with Quick Draw or an avatar go pewpew. I find it more reliable.
Ok, time for me to start throwing Ebon Pannels out here. Perhaps how Iron Giants activate is by losing a certain number of martello cores. Why else would all that machinery be stealing them?
Did anyone find archaic machinery of any type in any of the zones, or is it all in Bastion? Was seeing if our secret hope of another alexandrite source was still plausible.
I've got a very general question.
I know that mobs will pop at higher and higher levels as they are killed off by parties. My question is do they have some method for going back down to their lowest pop levels? Do they de-spawn at some point and repop low? Or are they forever IT once they are are pushed there.

btw was 2-4 manning the new Coral mobs and they aren't too bad. We were BLU/NIN, DRG/WHM, SAM/DNC, MNK/DNC and pretty well raping them. The only thing was on IT's Head Butt wasn't 100% effective, and Shock Spikes would suck. With a RDM to silence and a blm to stun would be easy to kill them quickly. Exp was good. We would kill a few between bastions. Only uses one TP move, single target through shadows but very manageable.
Anyone know if you can double equip the same atma with two lunar abyssites? Or do they have to be different? I doubt you can double up the same atma but one can hope :D
Does anyone know if mobs in "Visions" areas will level up to the new 85 mark or do "Visions" area mobs max out around 80? Obviously all the "Scars" area mobs should hit 85+ but haven't seen any reports of the others yet.
They stop getting stronger at the same point - they cap at VT to an 85. However, you can still receive 600 EXP with Gold Light and chain.
