Ivory abyssite of guerdon = Catholicon + Dusty Elixir

Having just the second still gives you the Elixir/Cath, but not the Lucid Potion/Ether~

Just updated all 3 Scars maps.. especially with drop pool.
Almost all drop pools confirmed. No NMs yet to be popped.
Need confirmation on some mobs which happen to only have 1 drop.

We got a mega gold pyxis during exp while we had at the most 4 amber lights. Of course someone could have had Abyssite of Destiny, but it only happened once. Is there always a small chance to get high tier boxes?

Got a parse from a friend during that same pt that didn't show any amber lights, though they showed up on mine. All amber was from red boxes. Does amber from boxes affect only the person that open? Or is it jsut a matter of the message not showing up for the others? I've never had the message not show for gold/silver/ebon.

@Kirschy, One of the T2 Orobons last night gave us 2 Jewels 0 Stones. Lightning Threnody was the trigger for grellow !! and a brd accidently re-triggered it during the fight. I may have taken a screenshot because I remembered reading about 2A+0B in this thread. If I didnt, I can post drop log if needed.

Are you taking into account that the Martello cores may be influencing the potency of the buff in the new zones?

I had always observed...
Base hp cruor buff 20% + 10% for each merit
Base mp cruor buff 10% + 5% for each merit

happens after hp/mp modifiers (latent gear still works)
i'll pop in here over lunch and verify numbers (in a vision zone) as i have all 4 merit.

HP / MP naked : 1159 / 763
HP / MP naked w/buff : 1854 / 991
HP / MP in gear : 1326 / 989
HP / MP in gear w/buff : 2121 / 1285

~60% boost in hp and ~30% boost in mp as expected
(konschtat with 4 abyssite of merit)

Tested again on NIN/WAR, 1578 base HP naked (1498 if you take off the 80 from merits).
Buffed HP is 2367 which is indeed 20% (299.6 ) + 10% (149.8 ) + 10% (149.8 ) + 10% (149.8 ) + basehp (1498 ) + merits (80)

From this point of view everything's perfect and we're talking about 10% HP per merit abyssite.
Not happy about that I decided to go back in there as MNK/THF (was /SAM the other time but oh well).

I'm bloody sure about that abyssite giving me a bit under 100 hp when I took it in konschtat, I can't see how I counted wrong. Maybe I was too tired, or maybe I needed to zone out/in (I only "deactivated" the hp buff, to have it reactivate itself right after)

You are wrong. Apply all the bonuses at once.

apply all hp/mp adjustments from gear, merits, etc etc etc. THEN apply the cruor buff adjustment.
Your error was that you were putting your hp from merits after the cruor buff.

The bonus of all this is that mages with force latent gear can still activate it even with the hp boost. (tested, it works)

Also confirmed that obtaining a new merit/furtherance does not immediately adjust your stats last night. Well ok just the furtherance but merit *should* function the exact same as the consistency in abyssea is rather predictable.
