Annoying email/spambot being sent from friends.
So for the past month, on my hotmail accounts (in b4 use google herp). I get emails like this from a handful (3-4 specific people).
The original sender of the forward is someone I know. As for who he is chain forwarding these to, these are also people I know. So this isn't a typical random email bot. My guess is they have malware or something and its using their accounts as hosts? Idk.

Anyways, I've tried actually blocking the original sender in specific. Along with removing them from my safe senders lists. Yet they still manage to get to my inbox.
Any ideas?

You think this is the real Dmitry?
I am having the same thing happen to me. The first person I ended up right-clicking and using the "For this sender" option to delete and block all incoming emails, which took like 5 times to actually block them after more came, but after that a few more popped up. I'm pretty sure the email addresses have been abandoned so I'm just going to keep blocking them for now.

After hours or research, still couldn't figure it out. Contacted Microsoft, they said go into the "Messenger" section of the Mail/Live site and then go to your contacts. Remove the contacts in question.
I was told that inactive/old accounts that are no longer used by people are now getting hijacked due to some exploit. Then using the accounts as temporary safe-havens to spam mail friends, or anyone on that persons friends list in question.

When this floated around with coworkers, all they had to do was change their msn password.
But if your contacts aren't inclined, you might as well just forward their emails to the trash.

Yeah, I've had it happen to me. I'm super duper careful with checking mails (I actually got phished and sent out mails before too, but I promptly fixed the issue and messaged everyone I sent the e-mail to and all that).. but yeah. Just block/delete the mails. Nothing else ya can do.

I actually had this happen to me the other day as well. My brothers really really old AOL mail account (yeah that old lol) apparently had been breached, and they sent the exact same address that was posted above to everyone that was in his contacts which thanks to stupid ass AOL Mail software was everyone he ever sent a email to which included businesses, me of course, etc etc. I logged in and changed his password as soon as I saw it and deleted myself from his contacts since he doesn't care about the address anymore, but what I'm really worried about is having my email address, which has been spam clean for years, floating around spam circles now. -_- I hope I got to it fast enough to prevent them from harvesting it (fixed the breach in <5 mins from message sent time), but that's likely just wishful thinking.
Sucks when you get email address gets harvested for spam through no fault of your own. /angry
