Quite interesting. If you can hit nukes as high as 463 with any consistency you'd be a better choice for magic killshots than a blm in an abyssea alliance! (Because you can fo better DOT after those kills aren't needed anymore.)

Also, protip: to prevent slow, ask the whm to use barstonra since slow is an earth based spell. However, I'm unsure off hand it demon slow is a /ja or somehow immune to this rule. I know it works for spider's slow.

It does work with demon slowra, memories of using it in dyna xarc.

On the BST point: Tsuko's being overly harsh but he's basically right in that a properly buffed pure DD job is going to do better than a properly buffed beastmaster. The maths simply favours not having part of your damage being unhasteable (for example.) Myself, I'm happy with beating the OMG MY SAM IS AWESOME STR RINGS AND BELT FOR TP GO players without pretending that my bst is an inherently superior job.

To be fair, I read his comment completely differently than he intended it to be read and jumped the gun. My bad.

That said(in regard to people on the page before, not the dude above) if you can't comprehend why a job who's damage is based significantly on something that cannot be buffed is mediocre at best, I think we're about done here. Beastmaster isn't terrible, but there's only one thing that will ever make it in leagues with real jobs, and its never going to happen(as evidenced by the very speedy samba fix of old).

You cost me good gil in jug pets/zeta foods when I have to tank then shed it off to my pet. I mean Jesus, snarls 30 sec and I still end up tanking in the end.
