I hope they create content based on the level of the majority of the playerbase.

If 3% of the players are rank 50 and 70% are 20-30 they should flesh out the midgame some more, imo.

I doubt the game will become top-heavy anytime soon. Plus, creating a ton of content for rank 50 that most people may not even get to experience fully when the "real" level cap might be 80~ a year later would be a bit silly.

You guys know if the current animations are going to go onto the retain version? Many of the Archer WS's seem extremely lackluster.

Yeah I posted that stuff way when OB started since we noticed it in CB already, but though it will change. Easy way to farm faction points faster this way. This doesn't work on rewards however.

Yea that's what I was thinking, but even XI's low level animations were better looking. I thought maybe they disabled some of them for the beta.

I think it's a quantity>quality thing here? XI didn't have that many animations especially early on iirc.

I'm sorry, Arrow Helix looks a lot better than Fast Blade. There are better complaints to make than WSes not looking good, especially when most other games simply use the same animation with different visual effects masking it. I'm a big WoW fanboy and even I'll heartily admit that just about every ability my hunter had involved the same shot animation, just with different effects coming out of it.

That's probably why I missed it. I skipped most of CB cus my laptop ran so shitty in alpha. After a couple months scrimping and saving, I managed to get a PC worthy of playing on, the day they shut down CB to prep OB.

From a few pages back. I finally got back to LL to give it a try and could not with Blacksmith 10. I'd wager it will require 15 or possibly 20 to make the Iron Needle.

Umm, has anyone else experienced this weird thing that happens during point reassignment. It would seem that once you pump anything past 50 when you try to reassign it hardly takes anything out of the thing past 50. I pumped nothing but ice recently and during a reassignment only got 3 points back.

The second time I got 5 back.

You get back 5 points from each stat that has something in it. And considering it takes 2 points for 1 stat. you get back 5 points and lose 2 stats.
