Depends on how many copies the store gets in, I suppose. With most games its enough to cover preorders for sure, and then some extra. Or lots extra. I know when I worked at EB for the Halo 3 launch, we had our backroom stuffed to the brim with those damn helmets for months and months afterwards.

The synthesis tells you what you need on the final page. In general, I would assume the more expensive it is, the better the boost.

Then the recepie doesn't require facilities, however using the facilities will facilitate the synth. It's like a +1 (random number) to your craft skill just like it is in FFXI with guild support. Common - Guild - Master could be 1-5-10 skill boost.

Haha ok thanks. I figure at least one Gamestop/Walmart/etc in the city will have to have a copy if I decide to pick it up. Don't want to order it because not even sure if I'm gonna have time to play before the 30th.

In beta the grind is noticeable, though I hope this is just because it's beta and there's plenty of quest exp and distractions away from leveling. Biggest issue for me is the annoying horizontal tearing issue in FFXIV for ATI cards.

I just forced Catalyst to use forced vertical refresh. not the best result but very noticeably less screen tearing than without Vsync. old 4850 here

Interesting reading about the surplus system possibly being devised to suit the chinese models, which must have a fatigue-like system in all of their games to keep people from playing too much.

Seems like SE from the start wanted to make sure they got a copy of this game into Chinese soil from day one - I guess they really have been taking lessons from Blizzard!

Surplus has nothing to do w/the Chinese model. Chinese need to have a pay by the minute sorta stem and kids aren't allowed to play more then X hours a day. Surplus doesn't prevent ppl from playing more the. x hours a day, only limits how much you can play X job per week. Don't make retarded logic even more retarded

I've been looking, but havent seen it listed anywhere. But if i pick he game up from walmart will it contain the onion helm. I know if i preorder from gamestop, amazon, or best buy i'll get it, but since my gamestop wasnt doing a midnight launch i was thinking about the walmart right across from the gamestop where i picked up "another" pc mmo at midnight.

I personally could see how some people could mistake the previous two sankaku things as serious, but to think this last one was serious too.. there is no hope for you. You need to make like a banana, and- well- you know the rest.

IS there any reliable data on the fact that you need to equip the Onion Helm before dying?

Friends told me that even if they equip it after the weakened is shortened
