i think it has a chance of recovery, or maybe its distance related, i had one i used a alot, and some that disappeared on use. I saw a message saying you recovered the chakram or somesuch at some point.

I hope I don't regret cancelling my Play.co.uk pre-order to save money at Tesco Entertainment. They don't seem to guarantee release day delivery but Googling around shows some people getting games a day early and some late.

Reports say that the retail client size is 9gb.

It doesn't make any sense though. The client should have the 5 yet to be released region textures in it. That alone should make it a whole lot bigger than 9gb.

How so? The open beta was 4.7gb and had 5 regions, 3 cities and a lot of game data. Plus it's probably compressed to fit on a dual layer DVD.

OB was more like 8,5gb

They might make us DL all the new regions in updates... gawd!

OB was 4.7gb, I had to download it rather than update the CB. Unless you're comparing the files after an install? I'm sure SE said the retail client is 22gb on disk.

8.5 after updates, which you can't do yet with the actual game, so expect quite a few gbs of updates lol

I stopped playing last Thursday or so(ok ok, we got hurricane swell so I wasn't actually sitting around). The thought of another wipe kept me away though. No call from gamestop yet but I assume they'll call today and if they don't I'll stop by on my way home from class. Hopefully they'll release the game tomorrow to me. Sucky this game is getting released just in time for my first set of exams AND a big CAD/rendering project. A week or two earlier would have been perfect!

Seems most people are experiencing the same thing. Checked my local retail stores tonight but they aren't getting the collectors edition. Guess I'll have to call gamestop in the morning and cross my fingers. Its funny, I have two gamestops in my town. Both across town and they are across the street from each other. Makes real fucking sense.

Yeah, when they said it came with a tumbler I assumed it was a glass, not a tin. That said, by the looks of that map I may have to be really geeky and stick it up on my wall.
