Tahronghi: Bone mining -> Deliver the mandy
La theine: Do willow rod quest 1-2 times then trade in a tonne of rusty items, about 60-70 should do it
Konshtat: Do the first set of quests to unlock the picture one, then do that about 15 times
Vunkerl: Items for Ward to end all wards may be a lil tough to get but its good fame

But to be honest by the time you get 3/3 sets of your AF3 seals from the 3 new areas you should have enough fame for anything. If not do a couple OPs, any of the 3 T1s are easy enough.

Just look at the abyssea pages on wiki, they list the fame checker npc + pos

other wiki lists Jade Abyssite of Prosperity from the quest Flown the Coop - Attohwa. Any confirmations?

Crimson abyssite of acumen is likely to come from a monster/NM if it follows the normal pattern - Vunkerl

Additionally what is the name of the crawler NM in Vunkerl?

*edit - some posts got in before I finished these*
So the Acumen came from the NM Armillaria ; are those the mushrooms over by the bridge quest starter encampment?
Did only the poper get it or the alliance?

I believe the whole alliance got it, the rest were Japanese with only me as english speaker. I was not the popper, I was on WHM, and I got it (posted pic of key item to otherwiki). They were across the bridge from Conflux #08, Speltercaps. NM wasn't very hard, except for a breath move I didn't see the name of that did over 1k front conal.

Can't seem to get BG Bucket to load for me to upload pics... gonna try from other PC.

I can confirm this; I got it yesterday. No photo, but I'd like to think my word is worth something around here.

I'd like to confirm this as well, and I think I understand how it works. I had 20 stones before my 2nd Celerity and 27 afterwards. However, I've also heard a few people with low amounts of stones claim that they've gotten none or 1 that they assumed was from the tick over (didn't get their exact numbers, totally should have). Here is my theory.

Your stones are stored in units of hours, not in units of stones. Number of Stones = floor(Stored Hours / Time Per Stone)

    Using the data in our two examples, let's say I've stored up 330 hours and I have 1 celerity, so 16 hours per stone. 330 / 16 = 20.625 = 20 stones. Now, I get my 2nd celerity. I still have 330 hours, so now the formula is 330 / 12 = 27.5 = 27 stones.

    Likewise, with Arkanna's data, let's say he has 410 hours. With 1 celerity, 410 / 16 = 25.625 = 25 stones. With 2 celerity, 410 / 12 = 34.166 = 34 stones.

If someone uses their stones (or more accurately, hours) frequently and only has, say, 24 hours stored, 24 / 16 = 1.5 = 1 stone, 24 / 12 = 2 stones, explaining the lack of noticeable increase.

Feel free to correct me if I've made a mistake somewhere, but the math certainly seems to work.

I didn't have any stones on the NPC and I think it said I had to wait something like 600+ minutes for my next one. After completing the Black Whisker quest last night it said I had about 100 minutes left until my next stone. I waited until the countdown and still only had one stone available. I didn't try to log out/log in to check. Maybe that affects the count? If it does I'll post again tonight when I get home from work if I have an abundance of stones available.

From what I understand, you take your stored stone count and multiply it by 4/3 to get your new stone count. A 600 min wait means you had 0.375 stones, which translates to 0.5 stones (360 minute wait for 8 hr stones; it works out to 240 minutes cut off). If you had 6 stones (assuming 16 hours left till the 7th), you'd end up with 8 stones. How much time passed between checking and seeing 600 minutes, and then checking and seeing 100 minutes?

It is possible that SE only stores the "last picked up time" for stones and calculate how many you have accumulated on request, much better than storing (and updating) thousands of characters (and level 1 mules that will prolly never make use of them) so being logged in/out shouldn't make any difference. That would also explain how abyssite of celerity can be retroactive.

Enough time for me to get Fame 3 and turn in the Whisker for the new Abyssite. I had 120 minutes + 3 stones and I think I'm sitting at around 85 minutes left. So if my maths are right about 144 minutes. (I have the +3 minute to each stone Abyssite also). I wasted a lot of time doing other quests for fame which were a waste of time

I have pictures of going from 5 stones - to 6 stones with key item, can upload if anyone wants the confirmation

Just to update, I didn't get "retroactive" stones. I only had two stones when I logged in.

Think of it this way. You get an extra 4 hours for every stone you have banked. One of my alts had 21 stones banked and got the abyssite. After getting he had 28 because (21 (stones banked) x4/12 (current rate of stone recharge)=7)

A member of the LS I'm in said that his friend saw a post on BG claiming that a third time reducing abyssite had been found on one of the Iron Giants. While I have looked and found kno post that matches this description, and I hardly believe the "friend of a friend" story, I thought I'd ask anyway.

    This is a lie correct?

No third Celerity abyssite has been found in the dats, as far as I've read. It's a safe bet to say that your 'friend of a friend' is blowing smoke.

We have speculated that a 3rd will get added with the next abyssea expansion as there appears to be a pattern of 1x, 2x, 3x of certain abyssite types per expansion.

I've been looking over the various abyssite and if the pattern continues with them I believe the following 6 will be the Ivory in the next expansion (3 from cruor prospector and 3 from quest NM completions)
Ivory abyssite of celerity (stone regen down)
Ivory abyssite of destiny (gold boxes)
Ivory abyssite of furtherance (stat up)
Ivory abyssite of lenity (exp lost down)
Ivory abyssite of merit (hp/mp up)
Ivory abyssite of prosperity (red boxes)

That will then grant 1 ivory for each type and have 15 others (5 per zone) to spread around to the rest.
Should total 3 of each type of abyssite except for lenity (9), merit (6) and sojourn (6)

Which if true then the following would occur:
+40 stats, +80% hp, +40% mp, -90% exp lost on death, 48 min per stone, 8 hour stone regen, and more.

Ivory of lenity probably won't show up. The pattern for lenity seems to be one lenity per Abyssea zone. Assuming we get three new zones next update, that's three more lenity for 90% EXP loss reduction. In POLutis key item list, there is room for three more lenity abyssites.

We will probably see Ivory Celerity, Destiny, Prosperity, Merit and Furtherance though. We will probably also see another Lunar, seeing as there are three instances of the atma status effect in the status list, as well as another Avarice because there are six traverser stone key items.

EDIT: Also, we already get +40 in stats through double Furtherance (I can confirm this), which makes it a far more valuable abyssite. If the actual effect of Furtherance is to double the Cruor Propsector bonus rather than add +10, we could possibly expect stats of +80 excluding Atma.

Yea I was going to do a section about lenity being an exception but that would mean 2 lunar would come from cruor/quest NM or a double up of an ivory from another category. Though I could see Lunar abyssite being 1 cruor 1 for (1/9) NMs and 1 for (9/9) NMs.

I'm puzzled about the +40 stats, are you sure you were not getting bastion core modifiers there? I'd have to check but I think I have only been getting +30 from double furtherance.

I am personally speculating that once you get the full set they are fused into a perma key item that has an overall stronger effect.... but who knows.

Know what, you're right. I just double checked in Tahrongi and only got +30. Sucks man.

Personally I'd predict the last three boss wins for the new expansion would be Destiny, Celerity and the third Lunar (probably in that order too).
Merit, Furtherance and Prosperity to be bought.

I dunno about whether or not the key items would be "fused", as it'd be mostly unnecessary. I attribute the fact that atmas and abyssites are located in the temp key items list as laziness on SE's part rather than anything else. Auto-Translator anyone?
