Fatigue was designed for a game that encouraged switching jobs. That's it. There's nothing special about an xp system built with game mechanics in mind, much how theres nothing special about someone pumping your gas at a full-serve station. There was a job and it was done. I just don't like the inference we should 'praise' SE for this wonderful opportunity to be 'free'.
I can only speak for myself, but I fully intend to change jobs often to take advantage of the leve system, cross-class abilities, and early market mechanics. To that end, even if I could play 40 hours a week, I can't see Fatigue impacting my gaming in any real way. If your approach to jobs is like-minded, there's no reason for feeling punished, upset, or, especially, that SE is somehow being unethical.
