The new Survivor format won't really change much. It'll just make it more MTV challenge style.
New survivor premier fixing to come on, russel's back should be interesting
As much as I want to see Russel get what he has coming, Boston's team is pretty sad. So much bitching, and that former agent is creeping the hell out of me.
I just wanted to point out that the curse of the Amazing Race continues. They were in Japan in the last show.
I pointed it out first here: http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/986...=1#post4267909
I'm not the only person to notice this:

Yeah yeah bumping old topic.
The Amazing Race 18 finale:
Spoiler: show
Sucks they didn't win. Mallory is one of the nicest and most genuine people you could ever meet. And she really is that southern lol. Always has been, it's not a show. Mallory said her dad has donated all the money they've made from the show to charity. He owns a cable company and is pretty damn well off, so it's not something they needed.
Spoiler: show
I know, it's frustrating. If I was a cabbie (particularly an American cabbie), and I found out the people in my cab were on the Amazing Race, I'd know damn well I'd want to do a particularly good job for them so as not to cost them $1 million bucks on national TV. If I didn't know where I was going, make calls or otherwise Or, I could look like a complete dufus and be stubborn and not ask for directions or call anyone for help. It's one thing if you're in Taiwan or Timbuktu or Ankara, and there is a language barrier; it's another if you're in Miami. I don't know how they stayed so positive through that experience, my hats off to them for that.
I'm happy with how this season of Survivor turned out. It's nice to see the best player get the jury votes.
Yes! Russell this is how it's done. Bravo
I had a feeling they were well off.
I wanted them to win too. Mallory is a Christian Jesus freak but she's a very likable Christian Jesus freak.
I'm glad the Globetrotters didn't win, they were getting annoying.
The black sisters had so little personality throughout the race.
I was really rooting for Zev and Justin but they had such a horrible last leg. The waxing scene was hilarious though.
Agreed. I was really rooting for them to get together and pick off Rob at the final 5 or 4 just because I was hoping that tribe would show some semblance of backbone or gameplay, but since it didn't happen, Rob was clearly the right choice. I'm a little annoyed that this final has another "returning two players;" I hope it's someone we haven't seen in awhile, and someone we haven't seen two or three times already.
Agreed. Unlike Matt from this season's Survivor who spoke like God controlled every little thing he did and the outcome of the game had everything to do with God's will and not his own skill. I understand it's rough, and you're depending a lot on your faith to get you through a rough, lonely patch of time, but if you win or lose a challenge, it's because you were better or worse, not because it's God's will. I'd love to see Brenda get another crack at it.
Brenda's hot as fuck. Would love for her to come back just to watch her in skimpy clothing.
Not sure if you're referring to Rob or Russell, but at the reunion show, when pressed, Russell told Jeff to keep his number. So he's not done playing yet, if Survivor wants him back. And if they wait several seasons or years (minimum of 3, preferably 5), I wouldn't mind seeing him again. But I really don't want to see him again anytime soon.
Rob confirmed at the reunion show he was done. Of course, that may very well change the next time Mark Burnett calls again....
