So did a quick search and didn't see any threads about it and as such I am extremely disappointed in all of you. I can't wait for this movie, friday can't get here fast enough. Thoughts?

same fucking stoked for Friday.
Pros:
Kid from Hurt Locker
Don motherfucking Draper
Ben Affleck Directing
Cons:
Ben Affleck starring.
This was my initial thought. I've only ever liked one movie with Ben Afflec in it, Good Will Hunting. And that's due to the fact that I really don't like Afflec at all... I almost hate him. Maybe I do.
However the more I see the previews on tv, and there is a lot of them, the more the movie looks decent. Could this be the 2nd role I've ever liked him in? It's a possibility.
Its getting great reviews and he is directing, his previous movie was Oscar nominated so yeah I'd say you'll probably like it. It's kind of funny that Ben Affleck is a better writer/director w/ only 3 movies to his name than he is an actor w/ god knows how many movies to his name.
anyone see this? i will be checking it out tomorrow. im gonna wear two pairs of boxers because i plan to bust lots of nuts.
Yeah, it was pretty good. I enjoyed it a lot.
Fucking awesome. Trailer didn't do it justice. I'd rate 4.5/5 stars. Probably one of my favorite heist/crime movies shortly behind the godfather 1&2 and the departed.
it saddens me that

is not in your list and is not at the top of said list as the best fucking Heist movie ever made?
Wow this got good ratings, may actually go see it later this week...
I saw this movie tonight and it was really bad. Not good at all. Not an ounce of tension, boring characters, etc. John Hamm was about the only good thing in it but his talent couldn't save this movie.
That's enough out of your Grant Logan
I was about to ask, it got so many positive reviews, was he trollin or just a generally unhappy dude?
grant sippin' on that haterade
Gonna have to agree, the actors all did what they could with their roles but every genre cliche imaginable was here, bank-robber with a heart of gold looking for a chance to get out of this life of crime, high-class love interest who does volunteer work, hot-headed partner in crime who "is like a brother" to the protagonist, single-mom with a drug problem.
also the ending was pretty sentimental and terrible.
The action scenes were ok, the camerawork during the car-chase in a van down in the urban sprawl of Boston was pretty awesome, but the movie just fell flat. Renner was really good in it though, seems like he's really good in everything he does these days.
Gone Baby Gone was a better film.
Movie is exactly like heat. Except Heat has a much more satisfying ending. Don't get me wrong, the movie is a fun ride, Jeremy Renner is excellent. I just hate Ben Affleck's character... and I hate Ben Affleck because he created that character for him to play.
In this one, it feels like, Ben Affleck is like, "FUCK NO, IM BEN AFFLECK" and takes all creative control, creates a laughable love story and creates sympathy for his character (that doesn't deserve sympathy).
