For the first time Andy seemed like a decent boss today.
Really liking Andy as manager. Wtf at everyone quitting for $100k before taxes though?
Am I the only one thinking these episodes aren't really that great? Maybe i just need to stop watching them til they have all aired then start going through them.. Compared to seasons 1-5 I'm not finding these that funny.
I don't know. The story-lines are feeling more and more gimmicky lately. The best writing has already been done in earlier seasons and I think a lot of that had to do w/ the character dynamics.
Everyone seems involved in each other's business so it just feels so contrived.

Season 8 is funnier than Season 6 and 7 so far. I don't hate Holly as a person, but I really hate how myred the story got with all the inter-office relationships. (minus Dwight and Angela). But I guess thats the timeline for a long series.
As much as I want to see more Creed in the story, I would hate for him to have that much story (he's a good old creepy guy).
Also, Kevin seems to be involved a lot in the first three episodes

MISTER JIM HALPERT!
Great Episode.
I loved this episode, and every episode I like Andy more and more. Jim screwing with Dwight is always funny as well.
Damn Pam got fat. This pregnancy is a lot less forgiving apparently lol
Thats cause she was really pregnancy i thought.
This ep. is like those eps. when Michael would do something stupid and then it backfires on him (and his ego), then everyone would 'chip in' to be emotionally supportive.
Wish they'd come up with more original stuff akin to s3. This ep was like when Andy has that play to impress Erin. Then it doesn't pan out. Then everyone sings with him at the end and makes him feel better.
Too sitcom-y. I dunno. Maybe im overanalzying it.
Yea thats true. It made me remember when Andy was telling Erin about how he was named. His brother was given the family name over him. So this relationship w/ his dad had some established backstory already.
Andy shouldn't have been named manager. He's too much like Michael, except the office already likes him, and they needed to do something different. Also think Robert California should have stayed just as insane as he was in the season finale; he's kind of flat now.
Pam wasn't pregnant when she was pregnant in the show. This time she is pregnant in real life. I'm on the fence about the show right now. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out. Andy isn't bad as the manager. I still feel that Dwight or Darryl would have been much better as the boss.
Its still watchable but every episode has a cringe moment for me. It's too gushy.
