Are PS+ subs available for cheap anywhere? Like with LIVE, I usually get lucky and can find a year sub for $40; any similar deals on PS+?
Given PSN cards give actual dollar amounts, versus 'points', I doubt it. Last I checked there weren't actual "PS+" cards either, just $$$ ones for your wallet, to subscribe to PS+ with.
Oh there are Kaisha - Playstation Plus 3 Month Card - But I don't know that I have ever seen them on sale, so really it is just catering to those that don't have credit cards. They do sometimes have added bonuses like this one that I linked which has:
Order this product between now and 12/31/2012 and receive a $5 promotional credit good towards any of the "Editor's Choice" game downloads in the month of January 2013. Wish PSN would update already.....
The stuff is already up if you search for it on the Vita. PS+ goods hasn't been updated yet though.
Yeah, just came to let anyone else know that Persona 4 Golden is up via search. 3.1 GB - 39.99. Downloading now!
Is all on PS3 now, including the PS+ benefits via search. The store-front itself still hasn't been updated though. Got me Wipeout downloading........, going to be fun playing the transfer-shit-around game on this 4gb card for the next two weeks.
Also..
Call of duty is a nice fps on the vita. However, online does not work.
Alright, I know this is a long shot, but would that patch for FFT that cures the slowdown happen to work on the PSN version you download?
Only if you have eCFW on your Vita.
Blast!
Oh well, that's what the PSP's for.
So my cousin said she didn't know what to get her 8-year-old for Christmas and I was like, "try out the vita." She goes, "oh I was thinking about a tablet and he already has a 3DS."
So I guess it's true that parents are seriously buying tablets for their kids over handhelds/consoles...sad day.
Hope it's a Nexus 7 if she's gettin him a tablet that isn't an iPad. I like my Vita, but if the kid has a 3DS already, a tablet would be a more practical purchase since both 3DS/Vita are pretty bad for anything not gaming/netflix related.
On the aside, Wipeout 2048 is dope. Took awhile to get used to 30fps vs. HD's 60fps, but after that adjustment......, best looking game I've played on the system yet.
Anyone have problems with Jet Set Radio? I tried to play it, but the 'pause' menu keeps comming up even though I'm not touching the start button. And then when I hit start or O to cancel out of it, it comes right back up. Other games are working fine.
considering mem cards are so expensive. the bundle comes w/ a 4gb.. and since I have PS+ should I be considering a 16 or 32gb card?
32 is the way to go.
Yeah, I shelled out for a 32 and have no regrets.
Disgaea 3 or RO? I want a RPG-y game for my first Vita game. Also taking other suggestions.
I'm a huge Disgaea fan but they are all the same game so yeah.
Unless you want to play Disgaea 3 again then go for RO.
