Is there a space in there for the sticks to sit comfortably? The main thing I worry with the pouches is too much weight possibly being applied to the sticks if you so happen to place the case with the Vita facing down, which is the fault with my current budget-tier case I picked up.

Was a $15 3rd-party generic 'starter' kit. Was cheap enough just so I had 'something' to put it in for now, along with a car charger.

Exact case I use for my Vita. Sony rep showed it to. Its like having your vita in a portable pillow. Holds about 5 games, and you can put the charger in it.

I don't use screen protectors. I just keep it in the case.

That's the one I just bought alongside my vita. Glad to hear it was a good choice

Huh, I ended up going with the starter kit from Sony. The one for my PSP worked well enough.. but that travel case does look nice.

Edit: Oh wait, not the official Sony one. Some other offbrand. Not so sure about the case.

This is the one i use. Its hard but light. Everything fits nicely including up to 10(?) game/mem cards

The PDP case is what I use and love it. I did take an exacto knife and make a little more room for the thumbsticks. As for a screen protector I use HORI PS Vita Screen Protective Filter. One trick I used to get it on almost perfectly was to do it in the bathroom. Turn your shower on as hot as it goes, let the bathroom get nice and steamy, then put it on. I only have one little dust particle on it after doing it this way.

does game data get saved onto the system HD or the memory card?

And if the memory card, do i need to even concern myself w/ transferring the data around since i have PS+?

Game data is on the memory card

If the game is Digital the save game is on the same file as the Game itself
If the game is Retail bought you have a file only for the save

I know you can only have one account on the Vita, but how does that work with psp games? Do they have to be from that account or any account and transfer from a ps3? Also same with ps1 classics? Thanks

You are able to install PSP games that are not in the Vita's store. Only item I will test tomorrow when I get my Vita is if it has to be from the one account on the Vita or any PSP game downloaded to the PS3. Given, need to own a PS3, but yeah.
