doubt it. another recent port (rachet and clank full frontal assault) had the same issue and never got fixed. the team who was in charge of the J&D collection port is notoriously awful. the games are still playable and beatable, the severity of the framerate issues will affect people differently. for me, it's incredibly annoying but still a playable and mildly enjoyable experience, but it pains me to see the poor state of this thing after the PS3 version's nearly perfect execution.

Well, got my Muramasa Rebirth collector's edition today.
Managed to get the cover on the screen without fucking it up horribly like the Persona 4 one.
The plastic case feels pretty cheap
Art print thing is just an art print thing.
and then it also comes with a small cinch bag..

The preorder bonus abridged soundtrack is a physical cd with 5 tracks, though I wish it was just a code to download it
The game itself is pretty fun so far but really easy (though I have only played the first level and on the base difficulty,) so I can't really say anything about that yet.

Talking about the flame wheel dude, right? Smashed him the fuck up. Did break my sword like 4 times though.

So this Spirit stat I need to craft swords... Is that something I haven't really been introduced to yet? Because I only have 10 and have no idea how to get it, what it does blah blah.

Just Beat the pig boss. That guy was pretty hard. Didn't die, but used a lot of items.

So are there ways to level up your soul aside from leveling? Everytime I get a sword from a boss, I have o wait a level or 3 before I can use it because of low soul. And right now, I'm sitting on two swords I can't use. I also can't craft any new ones because of the lack of soul.

That's it. Spamming lairs roughly around your level or right above can usually net you a good chunk of experience/souls, since you're fighting so many enemies one after another.

This. I can beat every boss easily without getting hit (or rather, without losing hp). Some of them were pretty challenging on my first play through, and shigurui was very difficult when i first tried it.

So are there ways to level up your soul aside from leveling?

There's no point in leveling up. Enemies level up with you, so you're better off staying low level and using the + stat items to equip weapons that are relatively much stronger.

For $5, you can't go wrong with it. I bought the physical copy for $10 awhile ago when gamestop was having a sale on it and don't regret that at all. And I'm not all that big on fighting games. I'm almost tempted to just buy it again so I can have the digital copy and not need to have the physical one.

I ended up picking it up. I played it not long after it came out, and it wasn't too bad. Worth the $5 for the occasional distraction.
