yeah it's pretty dumb. hopefully whatever additional content there is will be made available as DLC for the original version. probably won't bother buying the remake unless it drastically alters the way the game works (for the better)
I take it as just being an expansion pack + original game
question about Borderlands 2 on PS Vita, can you play online with other people? presumably via wifi on... PS3? PS4?
2 player only, and only with other Vita players.
TBH, Vita version sucks. Load times are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong , the controls do not translate very well (being forced to use the front and rear touchscreens, and even with maxed sensitivity on the sticks the controls feel sluggish). The framerate and slightly lowered graphic quality are understandable, but the control issues and load times are fucking brutal.
was wondering how they'd translate such a heavy game, thanks
It also takes up over 5 gigs if you get if off PSN. I'm leaving it on my card for the time being, because I think some of the issues (sluggish movement, maybe the frame rate drops) could in theory be fixed with some patches and redownloading would be a pain considering how abysmal download speeds on the Vita can be.
Had some extra cash so grabbed Soul Sacrifice Delta. If you enjoyed the first one, I'd say it's worth the pickup, a few hours in and the amount of new content seems really solid, and the improved graphics go a long way to helping the experience. If you haven't played the first one, this is obviously the money option and I'd say go for it.
think I'll wait for a sale or price drop, personally. may even see it on PS+ eventually. don't really like paying for the same game twice
Got Borderlands 2 today, first time playing it at all, and yeah those frame drops are there. Still it's pretty fun but avoid putting your hand on the back left touch screen unless you want to run all day.
Another Vita owner here. I personally love my Vita but I can understand why some of the choices Sony made with it can rub people the wrong way(memory being way to expensive) but there is a ton of great content on this machine.
My curren go to games on it are Hotline Miami, Spelunky, Demon Gaze, Fez, and Dragons Crown. There is a bunch of stuff I am looking forward to on it aswell including Orishika 2, Drifter, and Axiom Verge.
Always looking for fellow Vita friends so feel free to add me on PSN is you like (ReaperXL7)
So can anyone give me recommendations for Vita games or PSN downloads compatible with the vita? Currently for Vita games I have:
Ys: Memories of Celceta
Persona 4: The Golden
Hatsumi Mikiru Project DIVA: F
If you don't have the original, I'd definitely recommend Soul Sacrifice Delta. And either way I think the original is free thru plus atm.
Tearaway, Demon Gaze, X/X-2 remasters are all solid imo. PS1/PSP games can prolly just go thru lists of popular choices.
Dragon's Crown
Muramasa: Rebirth
Gravity Rush
Soul Sacrifice Delta
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (PSP)
Hexyz Force (PSP)
Wild Arms XF (PSP)
If you've already played X and X-2 int I'd skip the remasters unless you like giving away money. Nothing new there and with all these other cool games to play... yeah.
Is uncharted still free for PS+? Was free for like 6 months or did that finally fall off.
It fell under the Bored category for me
Soul Sacrifice Delta is the newest MHish game and thus gets my vote for the category atm
yeah I just wasn't a fan of the combat in Soul Sacrifice
