I think "plenty" is a bit of a stretch, but ok.

There is actually a fairly strong importer community on BG.
Those games look like pedo soft porn to me but if people enjoy it then w/e.
No one cares.

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition
http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/...tarve-vita.jpghttp://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/...ng-to-ps-vita/Hey everyone! I’m Corey Rollins from Klei Entertainment, and I’m happy to announce Don’t Starve: Giant Edition is coming to PlayStation Vita and will include both Don’t Starve and the Reign of Giants Expansion. Now, we’re not sure of an exact release date yet, but it’s happening.
Since we first released Don’t Starve: Console Edition on PS4, a lot of people said they’d love to play it on the go with their Vita. Well, we agree!
Don’t Starve: Giant Edition will include the original Don’t Starve along with all of the updates currently released on PC and PS4, including the multi-leveled caves update and the discoverable “Adventure Mode” that puts your survival skills to the test with multiple randomly-generated unique worlds as you try to escape your wild and strange prison.
Along with the original version of Don’t Starve, you’ll also get the Reign of Giants Expansion included! So Vita players will get access to the original nine characters and two new additions. Play as Wigfrid, a stage actress who went a bit too far with method acting on her latest role, an ancient Valkyrie, or Webber, a young boy who lives inside the spider who tried to eat him long ago.
The Reign of Giants expansion adds new seasonal challenges including the torrential rain falls of spring and the blistering heat of summer. You’ll also get new procedurally-generated biomes filled to the brim with new creatures and gatherables that will either help you survive — or kill you. Oh, and Giants.
We’ve also optimized the game to take advantage of Vita’s touch features. Navigation for menus, maps, items, and crafting are all touch friendly, or you can use the classic button navigation.
We’ll have more details in the coming months, but we wanted to confirm it’s happening. We’re also working on the final steps to bring the Reign of Giants Expansion to PS4. So expect an update on that release soon.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/...-ps-vita-soon/Hello, I’m Andrew Dayton, Co-Founder of Steel Wool Games. Getting the green light to make our first game doesn’t seem that long ago. And now, we’re living the dream and exhibiting Flyhunter Origins on PS Vita this year at E3!
Steel Wool Games was started by five animated film veterans (including myself) with a shared love for games, a desire to create something fun together and a combined 60 years of film animation experience. Sounds simple, probably makes for a good story. How hard could it be?
Well, hard… exceptionally hard in fact. But it was also an absolutely amazing experience.
We knew what we were good at and were well aware of what we lacked in experience. Being a gamer makes you no more fit to design a game than an avid movie watcher would be directing a film. Joshua (one of our other Co-Founders) had experience building game rules for his table top gaming company Zombiesmith, so we had a good grounding in game mechanics. Building a game that we wanted to play ourselves was daunting but we were determined. We did our research, studied games of the genre and we took advantage of the experience in game craft from our publisher Ripstone. But what were the speed bumps?
Since we were learning the art of game design as we went, we wanted to stick to a genre that had a great history for inspiration. We knew Flyhunter Origins was going to be a 3D platformer/3D chase game but where on the spectrum should we aim? We wanted to make it accessible to kids aged six and up but also fun and challenging for all ages.
We had to first and foremost create a fun gaming experience and pepper it with the qualities that were part of our pedigree. Fun, compelling story, great animation performances, a character that you learn to care about and some really pretty visuals. Our mantra is “This has to be fun to play”.
We leveraged our publisher’s experience and suggestions and held our ground on certain things we were passionate about, but we really took what Ripstone said to heart. They have been great partners on this adventure.
Nothing about the process of making Flyhunter Origins was what you would call traditional. Our publisher is in Liverpool, we are all in California – so setting up meetings or conference calls was always tricky! It was difficult, stressful and exhausting but we are all proud of what we have made. We always keep coming back to the same thought – imagine what we could do if we all were in the same building full time. It would either be a nerdy version of Andy Warhol’s Factory or fight to the death Thunderdome style
Flyhunter Origins (PS Vita) will be on the Sony Booth in the West Hall at E3 this year.

Excited by the new footage of Oreshika. I can't wait to play that thing. Currently really having fun with Deception IV on my trusty Vita.
I don't fully understand why with all the ps1/2 classics and decent lineup of games the vita does so poorly vs the 3ds..
Shit just blows my mind. Its a handheld for fuck sakes. And when people tell me "there are no games" my vita has 10+ games I have bought and around over 40 games at least that I can play from ps1. My 3ds has far less.
Idk I think the vita has a bad name because its not Nintendo. I really can not think of anything else seeing as the price points are not that bad anymore.
Also if people like games with young looking people who gives a fuck? Its their money. Same thing like saying don't watch anime. I'm not a fan of it myself outside very select anime and games but hay that's what they are into so be it. Not my place or yours to judge.
Edit: unless your in the oh so funny group of people who think games and TV can make person kill or rape or anything. Then by all means pease keep going I could use the laugh.
Is it possible to repair the wifi card in the vita or just buy a new one
Uh you really can't count PS1/PSP games because people have already played them or have them for different systems. At least that is the case for me, I have them all on PSP already. I bought vita for vita games not to rebuy the same games I've played already. Nobody was even complaining that there isn't enough games, I simply said "they should add more rpgs" like a random thought. Those pedo soft porn games are shit, that's all.
The Vita doesn't have Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Mario games, and Smash Bros.
The Vita does have a good overall library now along with PS1 classics and PSN+ incentive but it doesn't really have any huge system sellers like the 3DS has.
Oh and FUCK the vita memory card prices.
Well I did say vita needs its Pokemon a few posts back. 90% of sales must be for that one game.
Also why does vita not have monster hunter? PSP did right ?
Well they are making a Digimon game for it lol, that could be the alternate to Pokemon!
Mobile gaming has moved on to phones, where games cost less than $10. Buying a $200 mobile console where the games cost $30-$40.
Then there's the small matter of the memory card costs.
Finally, the JRPG market has contracted considerably since the PS1/PS2 golden age.
Nintendo's audience is just plain bigger since the brand is stronger, but it's nowhere near its Wii/DS days, again because that audience has moved on to phones.
Sony has repositioned the Vita to be an indie/niche gaming machine, which is why you get a lot of games where you touch 2D girls and why you get things like VNs, SRPGs, titles where 30-40k sold is enough for the publisher. Sony themselves, Activision et all have abandoned the platform otherwise.
My Vita has basically turned into an indie-gaming machine. Just haven't had much appeal from the $40 titles as of most of this year. Portable Don't Starve sounds like a pretty great match with how I use my Vita (10-15min bursts, sleep mode, pick up later) so I'll be nabbing that.
Twist the knife!! =) It has one coming in Japan with Frontier G. I'd actually import it if I could actually play it, but the nature of the game (online only) and the fact that they have always IP blocked the Frontier games in the past mean I will save the energy and just stay hyped for 4U on 3DS.
I have a 32GB card and have to constantly remove shit, but that 64GB import is still a ways off. Mix of PS1 and PSP classics (I have a MH (FU) on my Vita...)) and some big ones like P4G. The rest is due to PS+ giving me all the games or things I am just trying out from GameFly (Deception IV and Demon Gaze).
On the horizon I am pretty damned excited about Galak-Z, Minecraft Vita, Pavillion, Natural Doctrine, Swapper, SAO, Dragon Fin Soup and fucking HYPER LIGHT DRIFTER. I have too many games (and too many RPGs) to play. I know that TO:LUCT and FFIX can't be considered new RPGs by any stretch but damn they sure look and feel new. I get it though.
Ya have not played a monster hunter game in years due to this. Really I totally forgot because the new one was put onto the Wii u I think it was?
And I have no plans to get that till they take the game gamepad away lol
I will say, I bought the Wii U MH Bundle specifically because it had the Pro Pad. Used it once, realized that the gamepad was absolutely perfect in every way for MH. Never went back. At this point, my wanting a new Vita MH game is really more about nostalgia due to the fact that those PSP games were the ones that really hooked me on the series so many years ago and not because I actually think it would be better or anything.
