Charismatic, if I've never played a Atelier game before, would buying and playing that trilogy that's on sale be too confusing for me? Or is it like Final Fantasy where none of them really connect to the other ones?
Already platinumed Tales of Hearts R so I'm gonna be getting Nep Rebirth 1 and was looking for more jrpgs on Vita.
This particular trilogy is not connected to anything else. I think most of the Atelier games are pretty much standalone or related to a handful of games but its not like its one huge timeline or anything, generally speaking.
Even in these games, its not like you really need to play them all but there are characters that are in all of or multiple games in the trilogy and its always fun to see what they're up to years later or how the world has changed and so on. These aren't exactly story-driven games, mind you. They are more about the synthesis and the characters than anything. These are games to relax to, mostly.
Sounds like I'll just pick up this trilogy as an entry point. Thanks Char.
I got my tax refund and bought a few of the games on sale. Should have settled for physical copies. Library internet is super slow and keeps losing nconnection
I still have nearly all of it. Not much I can do with five hundred anyway.
So does rent and power and water. Im living with my mom and grandparents anyway
Found the best corner of the library to finish my download in with an hour left before they close. Hopefully I can get one done before I have to leave. Its downloading pretty fast. I bought tales of hearts r. Soa hf and valhalla Knights 3. And I put the legend of the Dragoon on my vita as well. Had it on my ps3 for ever and havent touched it. I really hate the level caps at the end of the game. Makes meru useless being Stuck at thirty seven. I never tried bringing the old guy to the final boss. I always bring rose and the giant
So glad you can use the Vierzeburg workshop (from Atelier Ayesha) music in Rorona Plus.
The default one is good... but this one just feels right.
Learned the hard way changing sd cards reset dl progress so now gotta completely redo the downloads
lol, that should have been obvious
Mwahaha publix internet vastly superior to library internet. Just gotta stroll around looking at stuff
Valhalla Knights 3 is somewhat difficult but I just figured out how to make money and where the shops in the slums are. Still cant figure out how to recruit yet. I have five slots but only three member.s. The slum shop keeps telling me they arent ready yet
Bravo if you can stomach Valhalla Knights 3. That series never started off that great and got worse with every installment
La-Mulana Ex on next week's store update. I really need to finish my PC copy first. Mainly curious to see if any of the adjustments they made in Ex alleviate the need to screenshot fucking everything or keeping a pen&paper handy, given this is a handheld release. Hard game to recommend since it was designed for a very specific audience, but god damn if it isn't a lengthy difficult trip if you can deal with the obtuse puzzles.
I got the Danganronpan's downloaded and installed. One case into the first game and it seems alright so far. Nice change of pace from how stiff the last VN (Ace Attorney DD) I played was.
Got bored with my 3DS, I too started playing Dangonranpa on my Vita. Been looking forward to play this since the start of Feb. Hopefully it's as good or better than Virtues last reward.
