Wtf is with the complete lack of built-in screen capture functionality in consoles/gaming handhelds these days anyway? I doubt it takes that much ram/processing power to grab what's on the framebuffer and quickly dump it raw to a specified folder.
Hell, a CFW PSP can do it with a plug-in that has yet to crash a game for me. Makes the platform have more of a social aspect when you can take pictures and share wtf you're doing with your expensive toy.
Day 1 purchase?!

Hope it's legit.
I've been hearing about the PSV running PSP stuff in a sandbox, so if that is the case, the most you'd get out of that is being able to play PSP games on it, and hope Sony cannot tell you are as I'm sure they check what's actually on your card vs what you're licensed to use off of it, since you have to manage everything on it via PS3 or their shit PC software.
I'm sure someone will come up with some intermediary software
I haven't been keeping up with the specs, it has a touch screen on the main screen? I thought there was a touchpad on the back of the device, but i was quite confused on how it works.
Touch on front and back. You can use the back screen for certain shit like...
That's impressive but so fucking gimmick to touch the screen for crossing a bridge.
Damn dat foliage, it looks impressive. I hope this handheld generation is much aggressive. I want double the RPG library that the PSP had!

Kinda reminding me of early-era DS games. Normal controls, but then interrupted by touch-screen moments for the "Yep, it totally supports this!" checklist.
Granted, all that shit should be optional in that Uncharted, although that 'mess the screen up rubbing your thumb over the paper' bit should have just been a cutscene. Looks fucking gorgeous for a handheld game, I want to see that shit in person.
I'm so used to PS3 being slow with after-the-fact software features that struggle to fit within the limited budget of memory. That trophy pop-up was near instant on the PSV.
It's distracting how the ambient water sounds drop volume every time nathan grunts or HRRRNGS his way across obstacles.

Very glad to hear about the price drop on the memory cards. They're still quite expensive, but still a nice surprise.
3d King of Cosmos' look is really off-putting....
That squeeze/stretch concept looks fuck awesome though, will definitely pick that up if it's not 80% recycled content like Katamari Forever on the PS3 was.
Fucking SEED shit

11$ for a online pass for one game, 60$+ for a acceptable memory card that is actually needed to play games, and the 250$ price tag which is equal to a PS3. Also It forces itself to update firmwires, and checks all files you transfer onto it.
