God damn people on forums..... decided to pick up my vita on release day again. lol
Can I claw with the Vita?
I'm starting to play around with the Vita abit and I'm beginning to like it. It can be a little bitchy at times but it's neat so far. Just need some actual Vita games for it.
Also, I have a question. I thought Sony was doing away with the Non digital games? I was very confused when I saw that the Special Edition Vita came with a little chip so tiny I could lose it by it just being anywhere that's not in my Vita. I thought the whole point of the Vita was to be like the Go but more advanced and shit.
Not that I'm getting one anytime soon, but how is the real battery life? (not the bullshit estimates they give)
I'll let you know tomorrow. I didn't touch it for a day till I figured out my stupid Internet password so I could update it to throw PSP games on it. I'll play the hell out it tonight. Go go Prinny!
this was always supposed to have physical media, no idea where people got the idea that it would be download only. battery life is exactly as advertised, i get about 4-5 hours of gameplay before having to recharge it.
How do PSP games look on it? I really want to play some older PSP games and I know DS games on the 3DS don't look so fantastic when you stretch out the game to match the 3DS' resolution.
My only reason for wanting a vita atm would be ninja gaiden sigma plus, ashamed to say I've never played it.
Sexy, that's great news. Is a memory card required for playing PSP games? What size would you recommend? Is the 32gb card overkill?
I really have to agree with this. The Vita looks to have a gorgeous screen, I really don't want to have to wipe the damn thing down every time I play it because I have to touch the screen to control the menus. That sucks to hear. Hope they'll add in control support for it in a firmware update down the road so I don't have to carry a microfiber cloth with it.
Going from what I know (don't own a PSV yet), you'll need a mem card since it has no onboard storage. 32gb should be adequate if you own a lot since PSP games on average run 400mb-1gb (1.5gb is the max a UMD can hold which some games fill) depending on your choice of titles.
No internal storage, so yes, a memory card is required. Size is up to you on how much you want to spend. 4 gb is more than usable, if you don't mind having to transfer games to and from your pc constantly. 4 gb will hold a few psp games, or 1-2/3 vita games. I don't plan to download any of my psv games from psn, and i doubt i'll buy any/many psp games either, so i went with a 4 gb myself, which i probably won't even use more than 1 gb of, but of course it all depends on your usage.
I went with 8 gigs personally. I like being lazy and putting many games on there
