The wifi goin off when you go into sleep mode is kinda weird, or i'm doing something wrong. Makes it impossible to download from PSN. I've been downloading a title from PSN, every time I come back from sleep mode, time remaining is the same, but within seconds it picks up.

Tried to post from my vita, but it did not work, at all. The web browser is even worse than the 3ds's.

Remote play is completely useless. Tried to play disgaea 4 with it, and could not do it. Graphics were worse than on my 30 year old piece of shit crt tv. It lagged by a good half second, which i could have lived with (at least for disgaea), but every so often it'd randomly freeze for 5+ seconds, and the controls didn't always match what i pressed (i let go of the joystick at one point, but it just kept going).

i had the opposite, no lag on my remote play and everything responded instantly. you playing on cfw? cause that could be it, i wasnt playing d4

Unit 13 just had a 1 man unit socom feel to it..... good socom.

Fifa plays just like the console version. I screwed around with the rear panel to shoot, and didn't care for it (you can turn it off in settings). I didn't screw around with the touch to pass feature yet.

Like i said sometimes it won't event connect to my Router, I have WII PS3 and 2 laptops + 3ds that are almost always on and never never loose internet.

On Vita atm i go on PSN try to log and the net goes off and then cannot connect back to my router. I have trouble believing the problem could be the Router, i rebooted it, took off all security on it and the problem is still there. I even closed and reboot my vita.

So atm i can't access any online feature on the vita.

but guess i'm not alone

Yes, cfw. Moved closer to my router, and seems to be working great now though, so guess that was it. Still looks like crap, even for 540p, but i can live with that.

Loving this thing. Makes me wish I had more time. So far Rayman is great. Uncharted is pretty good too. I think I currently like Rayman more because the levels are short, wheras Uncharted drags out..... but that's not a negative by any means. I just get that feeling because I have quite a few games to try out at the moment. Once the initial awe goes away, I think I will have the time to play through uncharted. MvC Comes in the mail tomorrow. Fifa is delayed (amazon is OOS since the b2g1 started....)

I spent a lot more on games than I wanted. But B2G1 was too good to pass up. Wipeout was on sale for 29.99 (-20 credit) so I got that pretty cheap. Still a little annoyed that amazon wouldn't give me a free game when I bought Wipeout + Uncharted a week~ before this b2g1 started.

I've been playing FF4 Complete and it's like a nostalgia bomb all over my face. Soooooo much better than the FF4 "remake" the DS got.

i know with mine wifi goes off after a few mins of inactivity. it'll default back to the 3g connection but when i try and do anything online again it'll automatically turn my wifi back on. so it only stays on when i'm doing something on my wifi.

I might be bad explaining, the fact it goes on and off for battery usage is fine with me. I don't mind the WIFI isisnt on when playing Rayman is a good idea.

But when i try to go on PSN, or on Friends then it keeps turning turning and then it says cannot connect to the internet. then i go to my settings click on my AP and saw that it's disconnected and when i try to connect manually, and it fails. or sometimes it connects, but Friends + PSN still don't work but Browser works bugs me.

Escpecially when my PS3 WII 3ds laptop can access those features NP (aka i try to go on PSN with PS3 it works but on Vita it says net doesn't work) and as posted in that link I'm not alone.

I just hope it will be fixed with a Software update soon

i'm definitely agreeing that there seems to be an issue with yours, was mostly trying to make sure that there was a difference between what we're experiencing. what security are you using on your router? what brand is it?

Question: PSP games are resized to full screen, always? I don't mind too much, but it would be cool to have an option to let them run at normal PSP size or what not, if it stretches the artwork too much or what not.

The PSP's screen resolution is 480x272, the Vita's is 960x544, so PSP games would just be pixel doubled and shouldn't appear stretched at all.

Maybe stretched isn't the right word, but I imagine the assets were made in such a way that they'd look better at PSP resolution than PSV resolution. The only game i've tried with is Dissidia 012 and to be fair, that game is a bit pixelized to start with.

It shouldn't look too different either way. The screen resolution is exactly doubled, so one pixel on the PSP might be represented by four on the Vita, but with the actual pixel pitch being smaller, it should look similar.

If anything, I'd point at the larger screen size of the Vita as something that'd make the games seem more pixelated. Thing is, if there was a way to do 1:1 pixel scaling on it (I dunno, I don't have one), it's result in a 2.5" picture that only uses half the screen.

Yay ISP finished with maintenance lol net seems to be working on vita atm.

(Bruno) If you listened M.Net yesterday, you saw that I was scared to death (ahahah) before the show. Yep. 1 minute before going on air, my PS Vita has frozen solid. The screen is off and it was impossible to turn the console. All that was like activity, it is the BLUE LIGHT OF DEATH. The PS logo that flashes blue quickly. I tried a ton of things, nothing worked. Denis has finally recalled the procedure to resurrect the PSP.

If it happens to you, weigh the power button and the TRIANGLE button until the console turns off completely. (Some sites are said to weigh only about Power but it did not work for me) Then turn on the console, you will be given the choice to restart the PS Vita and other options. If it comes back, remove the downloaded application that caused the problem and re-download it to re-install.

I'm not the only one who came. Sony is currently working on an up-to-day will fix the problem.

3DS FANS: It happened the same with my 3DS, several times since purchase. Console is no good to the shelter of a gel. Your ordis, your iPhone, your Google Phones, your Wii, your 360, your PS3 ... It happens on all platforms. You must not turn crazy with it.

What seemed to cause the problem according to him is that he downloaded the Unit 13 demo then launched it, when the game launched he had no sound, so he killed the app and reopened (still not sound). He then decided to turn the console off and then the problem happened

But seems fixed, but i think i could be nice to note incase some people happen

So with the possibility of backing up games on PC, Mac or PS3, how are you guys planning to go for buying vita games?

from PSN or the shop and why.
