I'm not sure if it's been said yet, but you can map the 2nd analog stick to the D-pad for any PSP games. Hellooooo MH:FU.

Yeah, saw some youtube video showing that yesterday. Long press the screen while in game in a PSP title to access that and the Bilinear scaling options. Eff MHFU, I would go so far as getting a JP PSN Points card and grabbing me some Portable 3rd.
picked up Dungeon Hunters Alliance at walmart (debated getting it on PSN but I think I want all my games to be physical copies, I already bought the phys copy of Little Deviants)
anyways, I fucking love DHA
gonna take a while to get used to the Vita's control layout... I wasn't expecting it to be so fucking huge and yet light weight
Facebook app broken? keep saying unable to connect (lolfacebook)

PlayStation Vita Facebook app pulled from PSN
When we saw Eurogamer's report that the PS Vita Facebook app had been pulled from PSN, it was only in Europe -- the US PSN store still had the app available for download. But as we began to compile this post, a funny thing happened: the PS Vita Facebook app was pulled from the US store, too.
So we contacted Sony for the reason why it was pulled. "The Facebook application for PS Vita is not available at this point in time," a Sony rep told Joystiq. "We are currently looking into this to restore it to normal operational status. We will announce further details when ready." There's currently no timetable for the app's return, but as soon as we know something, we'll let you know.
I had that game and I can't say absolutely sure because I don't have a Vita but it probably was the way the game was coded. It doesn't really make sense for a game that old to have those types of issues especially when the only thing that changed graphics wise was the cutscenes and maybe some of the moves.
Had a chance to give both of these demo's a look today, as my friend let me borrow his Vita for a few hours. I was pretty impressed with both of them. I didn't give Unit 13 a real thorough playthrough but I thought it was a lot of fun and is definitely on my list when I end up with my own Vita.
Fifa really blew me away. The graphics do indeed look amazing for a handheld FIFA game and it played just like its big boy versions. I will say that it felt much more like FIFA11 though, as it seems like they reverted to the high pressure spamming defense style instead of the more strategic defense of FIFA12. And you know, I don't really mind that. I love both 11 and 12 for different reasons, and put a hell of a lot of time into 11. I did have to go back and sort of relearn that kind of defense though, but I think it makes sense for a handheld version to be more fast paced and far less about possession. Good call EA.
I also played a bit of Marvel vs Capcom and was blown away by how that played and looked as well. I simply have to own one of these effers now. FIFA is on the top of the list and then I will have to see. Friend has a 16GB card, but he tends to like to do DL titles when he can. I would rather have hardcopy so I don't know that I will need more than a 4 or 8GB card. Gah, the wait is going to kill me.
I picture Call of Duty on this thing in Sept/Nov/Dec and I just can't wait.
FFTactics still has the slowdown. It's 1:1 identical with the PSP version.
Also Sony needs to hurry the fuck up on PSone classics.
Yes, it still has it.. its coded in, not something about the PSP hardware. This has been known for years.
Yep, its how the game was compiled when they released it. You can actually go on http://ffhacktics.com/ and get a recompiled version of the game and it will run smooth like its supposed to. I agree though, I don't understand how people cant let shit like this slip lol. They're so bad.
From what I can tell this seems like a relatively new project, doesn't seem like they're there yet: http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=8449.0
So yesterday, my Vita came in the mail, but no one was home. I've told our postman on multiple times to leave parcels at our doorstep but he never does and always takes them back to the Post Office. Pisses me off because I get a lot of box orders in from Amazon and Bodybuilding.com. I was super excited to get an email from Amazon saying they delivered my Vita, but I had to dejectedly sigh when I got home and found a parcel pick up slip instead...
Swung by the post office before work today, picked it up, and it sat in my car for 12 hours until I finally got home and turned it on. omg this screen is gorgeous...
Leave a note on the door with your signature telling them to leave the package, every time you're expecting one that you'll need to sign for.
The game used for HBL on vita was just given a limited announcement. It's NOT available in the US store, so anyone using a US account would need to reset their vita and make a new account for a different region to get it. You would need to do so every single time you want to switch psn accounts, making this a bit silly, unless you want to permanently switch to an HK account or something. HBL itself only allows usermode psp homebrew, no piracy, and it will be released sometime in the next few days.
That being said, if anyone wants the name of the game now, pm me, it costs <20 euros on a UK account, no idea about in jp/hk.
Definately won't be getting a vita. I had a feel of one today and it just felt really strange in my hands, didn't like it at all. The size of the screen looks great but the analogue sticks just feel alien to me, idk why. Think i'll pick up a 3ds sometime in the near future.
