I'm really banking on them unlocking PS1 compatibility during E3. What other way to showcase the Vita? "Play new things! (vita). Play things you missed out! (psp). Play your favorite classics! (ps1). AND PLAY FFX... IN HIGH DEFINITION" *Fireworks everywhere*

When heading to the washroom the other night I was just thinking how awesome remote play would have been if you could enable it on the fly, rather than having to reset the entire PS3 into it.

Pause game -> Grab Vita -> Get into remote-play mode -> Continue playing -> Return to PS3 -> Swap back

MGS HD Collection dropping June 12th.

edit: before anyone asks that didn't know already. Vita version only contains MGS2, MGS3, and the original MSX versions of MG and MG2. will not include Peace Walker.

If the ps3 is turned off, you can set it up so that the vita will turn it on and connect via remote play

I was thinking something more seamless that you could do mid-game, like what the Wii U was toting as a feature. Not sure how I didn't think of the Wii U the other day when I posted that though.

At any rate, E3 needs to get here faster, as I have zero doubt Sony will be focusing most of their presentation on the device, and I'm real curious wtf they actually have planned, since you need more than heavy-hitting games to perk people's interest these days if the PSP was a sign of things.

Ragnarok Odyssey Will Be Available In English This July

Xseed said Ragnarok Odyssey will be ready in English sometime this summer. Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has a more specific date – July 12. That’s when Ragnarok Odyssey with English and Chinese text will be available in regions like Hong Kong and Singapore.

Since an English version will be complete in July, Xseed’s release shouldn’t be too far behind (or ahead?).

Ragnarok Odyssey has elements of Monster Hunter where players can team up locally or online to fight giant creatures from Ragnarok Online.

It is going to be hard for me to refrain from grabbing the Asia version and waiting for the NA version. Damn it. Well actually timing may help me. Too much coming out in June, so I actually hope that Xseed end up finishing up around July or later.

Famitsu.com went live with its online preview of Malicious Rebirth, revealing the first screenshots of the PlayStation Vita port. The game is an enhanced version of the PlayStation 3 release, and adds new stages, actions, and after story chapter. Included in the shots are two new bosses / stages and two new cloak actions.

French retailer CDiscount has listed up Medal of Honor: Warfighter for the PlayStation Vita. According to the site it’ll be available on the same day as the console versions. It’s even available to add to your cart.

This would make sense in a way, after all we already know that a new Call of Duty is coming to the Vita, so surely EA will also want to get it’s very own FPS on the system.

We’ve also noticed that Need for Speed is also listed for Vita.
