http://www.gaming-age.com/2012/06/si...ion-vita-soon/In a somewhat unexpected (but awesome) bit of news, Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture announced that their excellent Xbox Live Arcade shoot ‘em up, Sine Mora, is coming to the PlayStation Vita (via PSN presumably) “soon”. The diesel punk side-scrolling shooter will surely look and play extremely well on the powerful portable, and the Vita version will feature some new content as well.
Read on for the announcement and more details.
Sine Mora may very well have redefined the shmup genre with loads of character and exquisite presentation, and now it’s spreading its wings to PlayStation Vita, so more players can experience the combined genius of Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture’s digital opus. Arriving soon, Sine Mora is set to blow minds yet again for an entirely new audience.
“When you’ve got a great game on your hands, there’s nothing you want to do more than share it with everyone,” said Balázs Horváth, director of publishing at Digital Reality. “We had a fantastic launch with Microsoft exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, and we’re really excited to continue that on the Vita.”
Exclusive to this new version is a guest character from Japanese cult studio G.rev, responsible for many shoot’em up classics like Border Down, Strania or Under Defeat. Vita owners will be able to select a new hero, Wilhelmine Muller, coming directly from the fantastic world of Under Defeat. Of course, the presence of Wilhelmine also means a brand new special weapon and new chronomes, available only on Vita!
Co-developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality, Sine Mora is a dieselpunk shoot ‘em up that provides a unique take on the genre, where time is the ultimate factor. Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with next-gen presentation, Sine Mora defines itself as a gorgeous shmup that appeals to both hardcore and casual gamers alike. Found on Xbox Live Arcade and coming soon to PlayStation®Vita, Sine Mora features over 60 combinations of planes, characters and time manipulation devices to complete every beautifully-crafted stage with scaling difficulty. All of this is set to an epic score of soaring heights composed by Akira Yamaoka (acclaimed for his works on Shadows of the Damned and the Silent Hill series) and with set pieces from boss battles designed by the legendary anime director Mahiro Maeda (Final Fantasy: Unlimited, The Animatrix segment “The Second Renaissance Parts I and II”, and the animation sequence in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1).
Also... just read that Sony plans on adding Remote Play support to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus (as well as God of War I and II HD). That is awesome, as is PS1 support, but I want more new games too! I have heard that there are something like 30 Vita games on the E3 floor. I really hope to start hearing about them soon...
Whelp, I've been playing the FUCK out of the Gravity Rush demo...
June 12th needs to hurry the fuck up.

In Japan, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F is a big enough game to command its own Vita hardware bundle, featuring a special-edition console and everything. In North America, it's something I randomly happened upon in Sony's E3 2012 booth, completely unheralded and unexplained. This difference in status makes sense, given that it's a music game about, starring, and featuring music by a virtual anime idol with a synthesized voice. In Japanese.
Called simply "Hatsune Miku" in its demo station, the game has you hit X and O in response to on-screen prompts (X and O icons flying into them), along with timed touchscreen swipes and directional presses, while Miku dances around on the screen. You're graded on the timing of each hit, and if you miss, it pops up as "WORST" which hurts pretty bad, guys.
The song I played was called "Catfood." Did I mention that I was surprised to see this in North America? There was no release info, or really anything. Just a demo unit sitting there.
Shit... now my daughter will want that. Shit.
Eh, still just black/white for color options. Gimme more colors, look at the buzz the 3DS got over a blue bundle for fire emblem. Or the red bundle with the gundam game. Look at the prices people still pay for the limited ed. color PSP variants. Gamers demand sexy fucking colors, it's astonishing to me that we haven't seen one new hue out of Sony, a brand that has banked big on technology+style in the past.
I'd own one already if I could get it in red, orange or purple.
Probably same reason 3DS took awhile to get a colour. Have to sell the existing stock first before you can justify doing a new colour.
Sly 4 looks like it'd be a better fit for the Vita than PS3 at any rate.
dat segaaaaaa
Why does the guy playing that suck so badly?

If the 3DS wasn't region locked I'm sure you would have this by now
nothing for FFX HD?![]()
Damn you IC! She must never know. I would go insane.
