PS3 and 360 Jet Set Radio HD finally got a release date, September 18/19th. Vita release date is set for October 16th. Price is set at $10, but no confirmation that if you buy the PS3 version you'll get the Vita version for free (like Foosball, and Motorstorm RC).

Just in case you were worried about it, Activision's "Call of Duty manager for Europe" has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will debut at Gamescom next week. It will apparently be a "true Call of Duty experience" and is due out "in a matter of months" (read: released simultaneously with Black Ops 2 in November).

Sony already said it was coming to the show when they released their Gamescom lineup late last month, so I guess this is them double-confirming it or something?

Just a random question for vita owners: how long do you hold the power button to turn the vita on? I feel like i have to hold it for 4 seconds for it to turn on... is that normal? 4 seconds doesnt sound like much, but i swear its the longest "hold-to-power-on" I've ever experienced.

Can you confirm this man, i just timed it again and its 4 FULL seconds (maybe even a bit more) till the little PS light lights up in the bottom left, and then right afterwards my screen turns on. Just want to make sure this isnt some sort of hardware defect.

shutting it down; i rarely put it to sleep. I dont care if vita requires a long hold to power on, i just want to make sure mine isn't abnormal. its literally 4 seconds. As an example, when i hold to power off, its only about 2 seconds till the "power off" option comes up on screen. Powering it on just feels awkwardly long.

As the only handhelds I've ever shut off are Nintendo Products, I couldn't tell ya. I've never shut off my Psp or vita since I owned em.

Just recently enabled GTA:VCS and GTA:CTW, and soon Castlevania: SOTN, Grandia, FF1-9 (minus 3), Parasite Eve 1-3, Legend of the Dragoon, Persona 3, Silent Hill

Yeah, I could care less about Vita games being releases... I got a whooooole lot of backlog to play through once 1.8 goes live in two weeks. So glad I picked up my 32 GB card from amazon.

Also, they're saying from Gamescon that for a lot of new titles being released, if you buy the PS3 version, you'll get the vita version for free (possible vice versa). They're starting program this with Playstation All Stars, Sly Cooper 4, and the new Racket&Clank.

Update: Unfortunately, not all PSOne Classics will be available right away. The games will be gradually rolled out over a period of time. Final Fantasy VII and Tomb Raider were two titles mentioned during Sony’s Gamescom announcement.
