There's a trailer up for MM's new vita game, Tearaway, and it looks pretty awesome.
I do hope that they release more than Final Fantasy 7 and Tomb Raider with the PSOne Classics. :<
When they announced it, he literally said "All PSN PS1 titles available for Vita on August 28th". That better be the case goddamnit.
Via Kotaku
You can get PlayStation Classics like Final Fantasy VII and Tomb Raider on your Vita starting August 28, Sony said today at Gamescom.
The service was first announced this year at E3.
Here's the list of games Sony has announced for initial support:
Tomb Raider
Final Fantasy VII
Wild Arms
Twisted Metal 2
Cool Boarders 2
Arc the Lad
Resident Evil Director's Cut
Crash Bandicoot
JetMoto
I've reached out to Sony to ask if other PS1 games will also be supported on launch. Will update should they respond.
I'll admit, I had a real hard time forcing myself to keep reading after "Via Kotaku". =P If they don't open the flood gates on the PS1 games it is perfectly shit. All or nothing effers, all or nothing.
LOL Where do you get your gaming news? I usually just tab between this and Kotaku...can't think of other gaming websites that are good :\
I am just being a jerk, Pro, Kotaku isn't all bad. I generally don't have the same amount of time to surf info anymore that I used to =( So I stick to NeoGAF these days, with some Kotaku and Siliconera tossed in. It does seem that it is true sadly, they are going to gradually release titles.
It is that goddamn term "gradually" that worries the hell out of me. Sony "gradually" added PS1 support. That took a good 9 months to happen almost, provided we see that August 28 date hold (which I think it will.) So I will gradually see titles like Vagrant Story and Xenogears added, and they will gradually provide me enjoyment on my Vita as I gradually forget why I bought the damn thing.
Black Ops Vita, brought to you by Nihilistic Software, developer behind everyone's favourite hits like Playstation Move Heroes, and Resistance Burning Skies!
I'm no graphic whore, but it looks like assssssssssssss
Black Ops? Probably because it wasn't a direct feed, and the game itself probably isn't running native resolution to start with, so blowing that up to 720p doesn't help it at the slightest.
Tried the madden demo.
Good god is the frame rate terrible
