you can also use your PC and use Media GO for your PSP then use content manager on your PS Vita. Really, PS3 is the way to go until PS+ cloud storage allows us to put PSP/PS1 saves on there from the PSP or something.

Are memory card contents encrypted and bound to the given Vita it was formatted on?

Mainly curious how you'd manage data on multiple memory cards, unless you have to offload your stuff either to a PS3 or Media Go to transfer data from one to another.

Yes, i believe so.

You would need to use either the content manager, or a ps3 to transfer data to one memory card from the other.
