God damn it SCEJ

Pretty much this is the list of all the PS1 games that SCEJ will be enabling and WHEN they'll be enabling. Every week they're allowing around 100 games to be directly downloaded from the PSN store. By the 18th there will be close to 600 PS1 available for the Vita.... IN JAPAN. Jerks....

To be fair, you never needed the 'install bubble' to transfer PSX shit to PSP for the good first five years of PS3's life. Why they changed that is fucking beyond me, since who is going to waste space having both a PSX game installed, and its installer sitting on your drive?

To clarify, I meant transferring PSP games from your PS3 to your Vita. I know when you download a PSP game to your PS3 it will not install (for obvious reasons) so you have that install file just sitting on your PS3 screen until you delete it.

edit: Some "screenshots" of Castlevania Cronicles. I tried to take a screenshot using the build-in function (PS button + Start button) but it was disabled. Oh well, cell phone to the rescue!

edit #2, some more playing around. You can transfer your PS1 saves from your PS3 on to your Vita, but there are some dumb requirements...Every PS1 game on your Vita will create TWO of its own UNIQUE memory cards to save files on. The memory cards are NOT shared between other games. Looks like they are created when the games are being installed onto the Vita!

Now, I have a saved game of Castlevania: SoTN on my PSP that I backed up to my PS3's "internal PS1 memory card" (found under Memory Card Utility). Using content manager I transferred that save to the Castlevania Cronicles labeled memory card. Booting up SoTN, it was unable to find that save (that was on the Cronicles memory card). Going back through Content manager, I transferred the save to the SoTN memory card and booting up the game this time, it found my save file.

Hopefully this will help some people out tomorrow if they have save files on their PS3 they want to transfer. Make sure to copy save files onto the corresponding game's memory card!

I believe some games allow screenshots via the actual menu (long press on the screen) but not all. I don't have my Vita near me at the moment, but that is what I am reading elsewhere. I need a couple more games but not sure which...

Grae maybe it's just me, but I'm not as big of a handheld fan as I once was. All those random titles don't really speak much to me, especially not at the steep price of 40 bucks a game, as good as they may be. I was referring more to big blockbuster titles, and that is lacking at the moment.

I have no doubt that eventually there will be enough games for me to warrant a purchase, I'm just not sure if now is the right time.
Actually, I noticed that gamestop is going to sell 250 dollar bundles for Assassin's Creed ... assuming the WiFi version still costs 250 by itself, it's worth getting a free game along with it, and I might just be tempted enough to grab that.

As for Square practically killing the KH series with all these jumps, and the fact that they're not even offering BBS on the PSN so that we can get it on Vita is ridiculous. They're just asking for people to stop caring. Do they really expect everyone to have played the 5 spin off titles so that they will be caught up on the events between 2 and 3? Assuming 3 comes out sometime in this decade (which doesn't seem likely because the KH team is STILL working on Versus, which probably won't hit shores before 2014, which means they won't even look at Sora's model before then.)

Best Buy has a Madden 13 Bundle for the Vita, Little Big Planet will also have a bundle, and AC:Liberation will be released with a white model Vita. All of the bundles will be sold @ $250. Funny enough, it seems that every month since the Vita's NA launch, there is at least 1 store chain (Gamestop/Best Buy/FYE/Fred Meyers) that will have a "Buy a Vita, get a gift card in X amount" where X is usually between 30-60 bucks. Winter game releases are right around the corner, so there is a lot of games going to be released for all consoles including the Vita.

Five bucks there will be a Black Friday deal and a Cyber Monday deal on Vitas.

As far as the actual MSRP going down? Probably not until next year's Q3 at the earliest.

Don't forget, we have NO idea what games will even be actually available to direct download from the Vita store. The NA store might only get those 9 titles to show up on the Vita store, or we might get 100 titles. It's anyone's guess. People are installing games right now via PS3.
