But... what about Ragnarok!? =) Hearing so many great things about the 999 sequel. Not my type of game, but very happy to see a Vita game getting great reviews. My friend can't stop playing it. One thing is for sure, that white Vita looks goddamned gorgeous. If I had the money right now I would absolutely trade mine in towards one, loss and all.
Gravity Rush & VLR will tide me over for now. I still got Wipeout and Uncharted to get, although I'm waiting on PS+ for Vita first since it feels either one of those two will be picked as a freeboe.
But yeah, this white fucker is looking gorgeous in my palms right now while it's updating its firmware. This kinda screws up my zombie marathon for tonight since this was a spontaneous purchase, but whatever.
AC, Gravity Rush and now Ragnarok Odyssey?
See you all in a couple years.

I'm on that Gravity Rush train too. Only a couple hours in, but it's pretty solid. As a cool side note, I have my Vita set to display everything in Korean. When I check my trophies it shows the game's name as 소녀는 하늘로 떨어졌다, or She Fell to the Sky. Why did we get stuck with a stupid name like Gravity Rush?
Two touch screens. Twice the sensations
I'm waiting for my Ragnarok Odyssey Merc Edition to be delivered at home today, i've heard lots of mixed reviews, but it seems the bad reviews are coming from people who dislike/neverplayed any MH games.
aka IGN that gave it a 5
from what ive played so far its enjoyable, story is meh but who really plays those games for the story

Muramasa: The Demon Blade: Why Vita And What About The Lost Wii Content?
Vanillaware’s gorgeous action RPG Muramasa: The Demon Blade is coming to PlayStation Vita in March right after other Marvelous AQL Vita games like Valhalla Knights 3. When I met with producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto, I asked why Marvelous AQL didn’t bring Muramasa: The Demon Blade to PS3 and Xbox 360 too.
"Considering the sell rate of the hardware, it would be better to release it on PS3 or Xbox 360," Hashimoto explained. "Since Muramasa: The Demon Blade is tied to Japanese culture the colors and art style are Japanese-like. You’ll see bright colors like red or sometimes orange and green. Because of this I thought it would be better to present the game and the world itself on an OLED display."
Muramasa: The Demon Blade was developed as a Wii exclusive back in 2009. What you may not know is the Wii game in stores was far from complete. A sizable amount of content was cut including gameplay features and story scenes. I asked Hashimoto if they would add any of the "lost" content to the Vita version of Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
"Yes, there were some features that were cut from the Wii version, but Vanillaware is not the type of company that likes to use old designs or plans. Also at Marvelous AQL we feel the same way. All of the new content will be made specifically for the Vita version," Hashimoto answered. "The gameplay will be the same, but there are new features with the new characters."
"Have we seen the ‘new’ characters in Muramasa: The Demon Blade before? Are they already in Momohime or Kisuke’s story," I wondered.
"This is difficult to talk about because of the timing of the interview, but these will be exciting characters. They will be totally new, someone you haven’t seen before," Hashimoto said.
When Ignition brought Muramasa: The Demon Blade to North America they released it with a bland localization. I think it could’ve been much better, so I explained my concerns to Hashimoto and asked if they plan on making the Vita version’s localization better.
"We are discussing about that internally right now," Hashimoto replied.
Not sure why they don't just do all three platforms. As fucking gorgeous as the OLED screen is, 1080p on a 38"+ would benefit the game's visuals even more.Because of this I thought it would be better to present the game and the world itself on an OLED display.
Huh..so they are thinking of localizing this? I'd love to play this on Vita.
I was trying not to buy anything until Black Friday since there are so many games I want coming out this month, but I had a lapse of memory and started installing ragnarok. Welp. Who wants to play
Wait, so it's not just local multiplayer?
I may be interested. . .Once I open my Vita after Black Friday. Waiting to see if Best Buy pulls some sudden Vita deal with "Buy a PS Vita with AC3 and get a $50 gift card"
Also: What have been the best prices people have been seeing on mem cards? Debating between the 16 gig and 32 gig one..
it's not local multiplayer only. you can play with random ppl or make groups for psn friends onry. i'm getting wrecked as a hunter. might switch to mage or something
Mage isn't much better. Cleric is pretty fun, but assassin and sword-guy are pretty much the best.
Hunter and Mage are definitely not designed for solo play
well then maybe assassin.
Sword and Assassin are both money. Sword is (obviously) more Aoe centric, Assassin is generally stupid amounts of single target burst damage. Can't block as an Assassin, but dodging is generally more useful then blocking anyways.
Not sure how to add people on Vita or PSN. I guess PM if you want to play RO some time. About to do the Orc King. Only play it a bit before bed (GW2 takes a big chunk of my time lol)
