I'm sure the A&B is covered under the personal conduct policy which is what DUI/DWI should be under since I doubt that booze is going to give a player any performance enhancement which is what the substance abuse policy is supposed to cover. Well in a perfect world it'd be covered under both policies, but realistically DUI and other behaviors of that nature should be personal conduct since they have the potential to affect others directly and not just the player.

Actually DUI is under the substance-abuse policy, which is not subject to suspension for the first offense. However, the program is confidential so it is possible he has a prior offense.

And I'm pretty indifferent to the QB situation, to be honest -- I just don't see our team as a Super Bowl team (O-line is fucked, secondary is shaky, D-line is hardly what it was), and I still see Vick as a short-term solution (that won't produce results in 2010) and Kolb as the possible future of the franchise. Honestly, I still like Donny too, although now it seems really stupid to trade him away if you're not even going to start the guy who was supposed to replace him. I'm glad our front office isn't being stubborn to the point of costing us losses, but they're acting extremely erratic right now.
