Word select was indeed in the DC/GC version. Oddly enough it was also in the JP BB version, but not the english version. Guess they intended for BB to be international. Hopefully the inclusion of it in PSO2 means something.

Word select was hundred times better than FFXI's auto translate too.

The first video, it's not much, but if you listen really hard you can hear the same sound effect as in PSO when you use a heavy attack.

I think I heard the sound effect for special attack too, but not sure.

Means nothing other than the confirmation that normal/heavy/special attacks are in the game, but the sound effect being the same is a pretty cool little bit.

I'm glad to see they're having an open beta at some point and properly stress testing their shit. At least they learned their lesson from the clusterfuck that was the PSU launch in Japan.

Is JP BB still up and running? My highest level character was on the JP BB servers. I doubt I remember my account information anyways, and my character is gone by now but.

Ah man, that Alpha video looked awesome.. and it's only alpha lol.. compare that shit to XIV or swotr, wow.

Everything reminded me of PSO, music, sounds, mobs, etc, and then they made it 10x better. God I hope they dont mess this up, which includes a proper localization :/ pleaseeeee.


PS. I can not express enough my hatred for when people strafe (or roll, etc) forward instead of running/walking.

Yeah, I've been on there soloing in my free time. =x Waiting on this game is painful.

I've been playing there a bit recently too. The community is getting smaller though, makes it hard to find decent games... and I need to take a break from trying to find a psycho wand. Drop rates are ridiculous.

After FFXI I swore to myself I would never play another mmo, so I won't be getting this but it does look like they know what to do to please the fans.

so hot, 30 secs in on second video, she injects the monomate or whatever healing item... God I'm loving this. Although I hope you get bigger clips or whatever for rifles, the 3 shot burst - reload is kinda repetitive.

Q: Is it available PSO2 release in the every country ?
A: We would like to release in the all over the world but schedule becomes undecided.


Far cry from being a definite yes however.
Also the schedule part of the answer makes me nervous in thinking that this will be just like every other PS title in which servers will be seperate, JP will get updates first, etc.
