It did seem like things were getting rushed when it had a 2011 release time frame.

So weird seeing responses from the Sega developers. Square-Enix would have a heart attack agreeing to make that many changes.

No. My expectations have been tempered. I remember how hyped I was for Phantasy Star Universe, only for it to be a massive letdown. I know not to expect too much. It is true that a lot of companies can't deliver, but at least ST is taking a step back here and having more Alpha Tests so they can prep it further. FFXIV was rushed out to the streets FAR too soon. Granted I was one of the ones hyped for FFXIV only to be burned hardcore, so I know to be careful now.

After being burnt by ST like so many others, with PSU, I think we are all just quietly awaiting release rather than shitting our pants over it being pushed back.

I'm probably in the minority here, but my expectations for PSU were incredibly low. The moment I read they went from RED BOX "ohhhh what is it?!?" to "gather some mats and uh synth," I had a feeling I was going to hate the game. They tried too damn hard to separate PSU from PSO.

I'm in the quietly watching crowd. I have very, very little faith in Sonic Team, so my expectations in regards to this are abysmally low. On the plus side, I won't be disappointed if it's FFXIV levels of awful. I'd love to see this end up being a good game though.
