I don't think it's even possible since you can't go to the camp ship without starting a quest first.

There's supposed to be a maintenance sometime to fix some of the lag and the rampant disconnects a number of people have been experiencing.

TBR, Aki, me and Kia just did the emergency lvl 16, got to the boss w/ 2 min left, got whooped pretty bad, so much fun tho.

Granted we were 8-9 levels underleveled, but that Emergency mission was a goddamn rush.

Forces - LEARN TO ABUSE YOUR CARD WEAPONS. If you think they're just a gimped ranged attack, think again - If you cancel into a charge, the card will stay at the point where you cancelled. From there, the next few techs you cast will trigger from the card, not yourself. This means you can drop safe heals, buffs and extend your nuking range.

Some other things I picked up on:

Resta - No longer a one-stop shop. It is now a regen field - right now I'm using level 2 Resta at level 8 and healing about 180-200HP over 4 ticks.

Sazonde - This was introduced in PSP2i, so many would not be familiar with this spell. This chucks a fast orb that clings to a target. From that point on, any Zonde spell cast on the victim will cause a decent DoT effect.
