Dark falz is the best fight I've done in PSO2 so far! Kind of crazy there was JUST A CONTENT UPDATE ONE WEEK AGO and they already had yet another one with an awesome boss with new loot.

Slapped Falz with that tonight on my 32 Fighter, the game is so broken now lol. Can rape all the bosses on Normal/Hard so fast, haven't tried VH yet.

Ya Falz is pretty fun. Nothing really beats the experience of him on VHM though. Give it a whirl sometime. I just wish he'd drop something other than Dual Sabers.

I'd do things for that Psycho Wand, even though I've heard it's batshit insane to upgrade. 12 Star and 1162 TATK at +10 with 3 levels of additional abilities that which when unlocked, reset it to +0. 17/19/21% reduction to tech costs. Madness.

30k MST and 5 grinders per shot. Even gives a title at +10.

Wow. Yeah, I'm still using stuff like the 5 star blue Sword at +10, some 5 star Wired lances at +10 and a Patty Partisan at +10 rofl. So lazy

Well at least for the most part, playing the game will get you better weapons. I haven't bought a single high end item except for a Lambda Jagriath W.lance and that was just to get me going in VHM as a newer player. 10 Stars can't be sold, so that limits your options a bit. It took me about 3 weeks to get any decent weapons to drop, and some of them took 3-4 days to upgrade.

Grinding 10 stars is absolutely ridiculous though lol. 5 stacks of grinders on Liewen Book. Dodo/Dudu or w/e the fuck his name is needs to go shove a grinder where the sun doesn't shine.

Newer people can check this out for a resource. It'll help with shop searches for those that have a harder time with typing in JP/understanding in general. I'd have been lost without this to start. I don't think it's been updated completely with Elder's drops, but there's always the swiki if you really want to know.

Playing with Shiyo who's new to the game, so was just leveling stuff with her and haven't had a chance to mess around on VH yet. We finally got it unlocked lastnight so gonna dick around on it today once maint ends. And Cirno is updating that doc elsewhere now, Google keeps complaining about the size of it so he's had to separate stuff, can find it here now. And my epeen update:

I just buy whatever looks cool and upgrade to like 8/10 or w/e i can without having to spam grinders. Game isn't hard enough to make me have to grind gear, you can beat it with 'decent" gear and still kill everything quickly, so meh.

Looking cool > spending 9000m on grinders and grinding 0.1% drops ;p

Think I'd have to build a pure Tech Mag at 50 to use it. 50 FO/TE is 480 Tech base... shit, even that wouldn't work.

Would pretty much have to invest points in T-ATK parts of the skill trees, which is sub-optimal.

Would need at least a 120 Tech Mag to work. Human and Newman have a 38 Tech difference in this build, so they can invest points elsewhere if they really want to (each level of T-ATK is +5).

Obviously level increases would make this moot.

I got a perfect FI/HU tree that gives me 700 just incase, saving SP until I actually get a weapon that requires it though, lol.

In Japan, yes. Everywhere else, no. The game is still very playable thanks to an English patch and a number of resources out there.

As a bit of an aside, apparently yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the original Phantasy Star. SEGA is planning a symphony and opened the play list to voting. Everything from PS1 to PSP2:i is on the list. Nothing from PSO2.
