Think my uncle is going to go to this. He doesn't like stewart/colbert too much, but then he doesn't like anybody (he's the "they're all crooks!" type of guy). He loves going to protests though so this might just get added to his list anyways.

It's funny because I come from a religious family who often doesn't find people they deem to be "Too offensive" funny, even if they are funny as fuck. But they all LOVE Colbert and Stewart every time they've watched it. Don't know many who actually dislike them. XD

What are they mocking? A group of people who showed up to celebrate the things that bind us together, kindness, and bringing faith back into the public sphere in hopes of a better more understanding future. Why on earth would you want to mock that message unless your own beliefs are that of intolerance, hatred and divisiveness. Anyone supporting this "rally" has just become that which they claim to hate and be against.

Whats almost worse is the supposed "glee" with which many take up the cause to mock others. Yea, I want to live in the world *you* are making, douchebags.

Anyway, this rally was asked for by Facebook fans. The fact that the majority of people completely ignore how this happened makes me sad for the future of the republic. Policy differences all you want, that's fine, but you can't fucking shove your fingers in your ears and live in your own reality.

It also got way less media exposure than Glenn Beck's propaganda, so I really doubt there are that many people that even realizes there is such event.

That and really, I'd say most of the demographic either has things to do or more apathetic in their view of society to really get riled and go out of their way to do it.
