Macbook pro locking up when I launch wow, and trackpad stops working randomly.

whenever i launch wow, which this thing is easily capable of running the entire system just locks up and i have to hold the power button down to turn it off and then turn it back on.

now randomly whenever im typing, my trackpad will just stop working and i'll have to switch to another window then switch back and it works fine, but nothing i do in the current window will fix it.

When I launch wow the screen just goes black. For a second you see the finger cursor for wow but then it all just blacks out. When the trackpad goes out, everything looks the same as it normally does. I can play the cata beta just fine, but not the actual game.

Shitty sentence formatting. Posting from phone

Have you done a software update lately? Apple did push out a video driver update for Snow Leopard users a month back.

For the trackpad thing, do you have 'ignore accidental trackpad input' checked on under Trackpad in the System Preferences? Might be related, but I'm not sure.

I'd rather have your symptoms than my current ones, where my new logic board's fans don't bother ramping their speed up until the CPU hits 90 celcius, which was definitely not the case with the one I had last that died on me.
