what's your impression? Is it better than 3? If so, how much better? I had a blast playing 1 and 2 but had a hard time getting into 3 so positive opinions might sway me into getting 4.

I didnt get a real good chance to play much. I opened the figures, copyed the CD to my HDD, then family came over.

I only beat the tutorial, but from what ive seen so far battle wise, it's identical to 3. Couldnt comment on the story as there really hasnt been much revealed yet.

Huh, if I had realized NISA was going to ship early I might've considered ordering from them. Although the last couple times I ordered anything from their store I had nothing but issues, so idk.

Never had any probs with NISA before.

Ive sort of noticed that D4 is slightly more challenging (at least in the begining).

Unfortunately that isn't saying much, D3 was agonizingly easy from start to finish. Unless you're talking more challenging than anything in the past, in which case color me interested.

It's been a long while since I played the other D games, but D4 does seem more challenging so far.
As far as th story goes.. im not really impressed.. D1 is still epic.

What's the quality of the artbook that game with the deluxe editions? Did anybody order it? Hardcover, glossy pages or...?

honestly, not that impressive, at least to me. it's a small little softbound book about the size to the PS3 case the disc is in (height/width, not thickness). I bought the figure edition for the figurines.

Yeah, artbook is nothing to be too excited about, it's only a handful of pages and more like a heavy instruction manual. Liking the game so far, though it could do to be harder. Enemy AI is still pretty exploitable and it seems like there's a lot more "easy" ways to win any given map than in any of the prior games.

Stuck waiting till tomorrow to get my copy now... Shitstop sold my fully paid for reserved copy to someone who came in when store opened... I'm so ready to dump 500+ hours into this one as well.
