What's that rumbling in the distance? I think its the vibrations of thousands of chairs supporting overweight otaku fapping furiously to that SS at once.

Spoiler: show
I spy the crazy comic store guy from Lucky Star, lol.
I see yet another new Magichange feature, or something among the likes.
Oh shit, Volcanus is still around.
Check! box with Vulcanus
The relation with "Disgaea"'s Vulcano is?
If one were to say Vulcano, it'd remind of that Archangel Vulcano
who caused the war between Celestia and the Netherworld. The 2
do not resemble each other at all, but there's some kind of
relation...!?
[Vulcano is Vulcanus in the English version]
description of Vulcano(?)
Vulcano(?)
CV: Kitamura Eri
An angel who causes trouble for the Netherworld with the nickname
of "greedy angel". She flies around [famous locations?] of the
Netherworld as a "phantom thief" to [accomplish?] her just cause
said to be "collecting money that was distributed illegally to restore
Celestia". She happens to have her angelic kindness and purity at the
moment, but she can also show quite a stern face when it's about
money!?
[the first character of "greed" (gouyoku) is replaced by a homonym
that could mean "business" (gou)]

Vulcano acting according to her own beliefs. She's an angel too, so
pay attention to her relation with Flonne who is well-known in the
series!

http://www.siliconera.com/2010/11/03...-in-disgaea-4/Nippon Ichi announced a crossover data feature for Disgaea 4.
Players can load their save file from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
into the sequel.
Will this unlock a ultra powerful Prinny? Who knows. (Probably not,
though!) Nippon Ichi is keeping the benefits of loading a Disgaea 3
save data a secret for now.
If it lets me use story characters from Disgaea 3 without having to pay for them like they did with the DLC characters from the prior two for it, that's fine by me.
I hope they announce what it is pretty soon, I'm very curious to know what it is.
I fucking hope N1 isn't gonna do bullshit DLC model like it did D3 where the total for all the DLC will run you 60 fucking dollars for extra characters.
I mean that kind of shit may fly in Japan, but there is a goddamn good reason why Anime Blu-ray doesn't sell for 100 bucks for 2 episode here.
Some new Punishment commands. Note: These can be used on Males and Monsters as well.
Hit them with a wad of money
Make them sign documents
Tie their hands
Tie their feet
Talk naughty
Make them flatter you
Make them give a massage

Further introduction of the battle system!
We introduced things such as team attacks and combo attacks,
lifting, and the basics of Magichange in the previous article. This
time, we'll explain further transformation of Magichange, the new
defense command, Evilities, and special skills.
Gigantic Weapons
In this time's work, monsters become gigantic by uniting. Well then,
can a monster who has become gigantic Magichange? The answer is
yes. If a monster who has become gigantic Magichanges, they'll
change into a "gigantic weapon" that is many times bigger than a
human-type character. In this state, their effectiveness and
damage can be expected to be greater than those of a normal
Magichange weapon.
Like a normal Magichange weapon, on top of receiving the benefits
of the characteristics that the monster has, it'll also be possible to
use unique skills.
Two-Sword Style
If a monster performs another Magichange at a human-type
character fighting with a Magichange weapon, the targeted human-
type character will be able to equip Magichange weapons in both
hands. The two-sword style has the following kinds of benefits, but
it seems that there are still many more benefits in store.
If a character performs attacks such as common attacks or
weapon attacks with the two-sword style, they'll be able to attack
twice at once. It's sure to become quite a source of damage.
Additionally, in case the weapons held in both hands are of different
types, it'll be possible to choose skills of both types. There is also
the benefit of greatly broadening the choices of actions.
The New Possibility of Defend
The Defend command that mitigates damage from enemies by
hardening defenses. In this time's work, if a character executes
Defend, they'll be able to block an enemy's special skill attack a
single time during that turn. If an enemy's special skill attack is
canceled by this Defend effect, characters behind the character
who used Defend will also escape from the effects of the skills.
Thus, the character who used Defend can fulfill the role of a shield.
Stand in front of allies and Defend! Characters can Defend against
an enemy's special skill attack while protecting allies.
Additionally, if the activation requirements are met, it'll also be
possible to "cover" an adjacent ally when Defend is executed. First,
the character who used Defend shoves aside the character who
almost receives the attack and changes place with them. Then, that
character shoulders the damage that would have been received by
the ally.
Because it's also effective against counterattacks from enemies, it
seems that being adjacent to allies is becoming more and more
important.

Someone pointed this out, but it looks like Emizel's skill may be a parody of Full Hollow Ichigo Cero attack.

Disgaea 4's Online Component
In Disgaea 4, you can collect parts to build a pirate ship. Once your
ship is completed, you can have your characters board the ship and
send it out onto the great ocean known as the internet where it
will apparently meet up with ships from other players.
The text at the blog I'm reading for this info is unclear on how this
system works. It may be that you download the ships from other
players for battle, or it may be that the battles take place
automatically. We'll have to wait for clarification.
You can also send out your characters to other players who can
use them in battle.
Nippon Ichi has been pretty quick with getting out online stories and
media for Disgaea 4, so we'll hopefully get details later this week.
http://www.siliconera.com/2010/11/09...s-online-mode/Watch out for online invaders! In Disgaea 4 you can be ambushed by
characters created by another player.
Before your team can hop into someone else’s game you need to
create a pirate ship. Dengeki PlayStation explains you need to
assemble the ship from parts. Then you can place characters on it
and send them out on the Internet.
Disgaea 4 only lets players with the same ranking barge into your
game, so you shouldn’t see a level 99999 party unless you’re just
as powerful. What isn’t clear is if both players directly command
characters during online invasions or if Disgaea 4 transfers ghost
data and the computer (on another console) controls your party.
Another interesting tidbit is another player can call your pirate ship
for help during battle too as if they had a _insert party name
here_ cell phone.
We’re going to mark this as a rumor for now because a scan
showing this feature has not surfaced, but multiple blogs and
forums mention a map edit feature in Disgaea 4.
Edit: I think 99999 in the link is a typo, not sure
Yesssssss, glad Nippin is still working on this! Just hope more details come in soon
www.siliconera.com/2010/11/10/makai-wars-lives/A long time ago (in a galaxy not so far away), Nippon Ichi announced
Makai Wars for PSP. Development moved to PlayStation 3… in 2005
and we haven’t heard about it since. Well, that’s if you don’t count
Axel talking about Makai Wars in Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days.
Did Nippon Ichi cancel the game? Maybe not. The publisher filed a
trademark for Makai Wars in Japan not too long ago. This was after
Nippon Ichi registered a trademark for Criminal Girls, which is
actually coming out for PSP.
If Nippon Ichi canned Makai Wars they probably wouldn’t have filed a
trademark for the game. Perhaps, we’ll hear more about the
PlayStation 3 version soon.
