Definitely not gay. Seemed more like riding one of those skinny big boobed blonde chicks you see in movies to me.

It was quite a lengthy and annoying process and I wish I had used Crysta. VISA worked fine for me however.

yea, already hearing horror stories about friends of mine having to apply for Credit cards, sign up to some "Click and buy" 3rd party site to pay for 14, registering and possibly waiting up to a week for the registration to go thru on some cards. pretty much we're all going to have to set up the one RL FF14 friend we have whose CC actually works as a "Fence" to pay for like... 6 of us, as we all use the same bank/card/account type >.>.

Edit: Cant buy Crysta in Australia.

Also, gotta call some phone number to register the click and buy thing which is naturally some ph no. in EU. Yay for being put on hold on an international call >.>.

I'm having issues with Visa debit as well. I haven't used this card for a couple days, so I'm not over any limits.. I can open my bank account and see far more than I'm trying to purchase.. and I tried re-entering all the information but it told me the card already exists in my account.

I do have my card setup through Visa's online password system.. does this billing company not forward all charges through that?

It also feels awkward that they couldn't even create some SE styled pages and just toss their logo in a corner somewhere..

yea. to top it off, once you receive your registration from the "Click and Buy" site, you have to look up your bank statement online to see exactly how much was deducted from your account (random amount around $3) and then punch that amount into the site as a security or someshit. I havent done all that biz yet. Not looking forward to it

Must just be a US thing, Click and Buy haven't asked me to do that in either e-mail they sent me. But we have a Verified by Visa process during sign up which is an extra layer of security.

Well all this looks so promising, because I've had problems before when trying to do payments to foreign countries on my finnish VISA debit card.

It worked on FFXI though, but meh.. can't really have my hopes up for this shit after seeing so many people having problems with the payment.

I don't believe you have to verify your click and buy account to add crysta to your SE account. Though, it says something about giving you higher limits and lower fees.. (Yes, fees.)

Looking at my bank account, I had a charge for $2.50 just for signing up with Click and Buy, followed by trying to spend $30 in crysta from the same company. This was flagged by my bank as possible fraud activity, which they neglected to call me about and just blocked my card.

Remember PlayOnline? I'm starting to miss that system already..

I never had any problems with PlayOnline honestly, so I don't understand why so many people hated that one.

I really hope I don't have to be using that weird crysta click and buy shit.. it sounds complicated and in some way, fishy.

Playonline was ok, but navigating the menu's and shit sucked huge ass.

I'm having some of the same issues with this click and buy bullshit. They blocked my account and now I have to wait to contact them to figure out what's up.

I never had any problems with PlayOnline either, aside from it being rather slow to transition between pages. In fact, I activated my old account through it earlier today and it was extremely painless, which is part of the point I was trying to make.

Now that I sorted everything out with my bank, I have to now wait for Click and Buy to respond to my email inquiry. Apparently they aren't doing any business at this hour on their phone support. Cool quote from ClickandBuy's About Us page, "ClickandBuy International Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom" .. It's almost 11am in London.

I just don't really know what to say about the whole billing system they've gone with.

They're based on EDT it seems. I tried calling the 800 number and their business hours are 9am - 6pm EDT, so they won't be open for another 3 hours.

The 'charge' on your account is actually a pretty common method companies use by making a small, immediately refunded debit on the card to check it is valid. It says when you sign up Click and Buy will make a small charge and it will be refunded in several hours.

I don't really care about the $2.50, but it is rather annoying that it caused my bank to trip the fraud alarms. Doesn't sound like I'm the only one with the issue.

The verification debits they make to your account also are not refunded, but placed in your C&B account for future use. Not really a big deal either, I'll be using it eventually.. just a little strange to me.

Registration still takes 3 days though, so basically gotta sit here with our fingers up our asses waiting....
