I can't see it being Barney and Robin's wedding. Considering how their relationship ended, it seemed like the two of them can't be themselves together.

And why would Ted be anxious at Punchy's wedding? Unless there's some sudden plot development regarding his friendship with Punchy (which in all reality they could pull), it doesn't seem like there's anything for Ted to be that nervous about.

That's the best thing to come out of this episode then cause otherwise it was downright depressing..

Am I the only one who was happy with how it ended? Womanizing Barney is so much funnier than Barney in a relationship. I was not a fan of Barney and Robin being together. I'd rather Barney stay single for a while longer.

You can prefer single Barney and still empathize with the situation and feel sad about it.

Some people on TWOP are floating the idea that Nora could possibly be the Mother, but it doesn't make sense. We know the Mother was Rachel Bilson's roommate, we know she was in that bar during St. Patrick's Day during season 1 or 2 but Ted never met her, we know about the yellow umbrella, etc. Ted just met Nora in McLaren's along with the rest of the gang. While I'm not adverse to her being the mother, it does seem weird that Ted would get Barney's sloppy seconds.

C) Wasn't the model they had of the mom blonde in S5 when he's at the apartment w/ Summer from the OC?

We never saw her hair did we, just her ankle? And I'm sure they could pull a "Oh, my hair was dyed back then" if it really was an issue.
