yeah there's no way it's her, unless they decided to completely ditch any pretense of continuity

He also called her immediately after receiving her number, let's not forget that. So unless he calls a woman when he gets her number, we already know it's not her.
The biggest hint on when he meets the mother is when its at this wedding, he said it to wendy the waitress.
I wonder if they are gonna push back him meeting the mom so they have something to anchor their mondays now that 2 and a Half Crackpipes is off the air indefinitely.
Legen- wait for it
-dary.
I'm enjoying the "flash forwards" lately more than anything. I'm going to say hes going to meet the mother at the end of a season, the following season will be about their relationship and that will be it. The show is a huge hit for CBS, but I really don't want them drawing it out.
Spoiler: show

They met at the wedding, and they already met in McClaren's. It's not Nora.
IDENTICAL TWIN SISTER
I really hope we get some mother goodness to end the season, even with it expanded. We gotta have another star join the show and maybe add her to the crew to see how she fits in with the gang, after all.
I don't think we're gonna get the mother until the very end of the show. I really don't see another regular being added after all this time of just the 5 of them.
Looks like Ted's story just got even longer: http://www.cbs.com/forum/posts/list/147747.page
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has been renewed through the 2012-2013 season as part of a multi-year broadcast agreement between CBS Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Television.
"We are so proud of this show and all of its creative and ratings achievements," said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment. "HIMYM's brilliant producing team continues to find inventive ways to tell funny stories that stir pop culture conversation; it has become a go-to destination for top guest stars and its amazing ensemble cast brings to life characters that audiences want to hang out with every Monday night."
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has been an integral part of CBS's top-rated Monday comedy block since its premiere in September 2005.
Currently in its sixth season, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is posting year-to-year increases in viewers and key demographics. The series is averaging 9.48 million viewers (+8% versus last year), 3.8/09 in adults 18-49 (+9%) and 4.4/11 in adults 25-54 (+7%) in its Monday (8:00-8:30 PM) time period. It is also CBS's highest-rated series among adults 18-34 (3.3/10).
In addition to being a ratings success, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has also earned critical acclaim and award recognition. Neil Patrick Harris has earned four consecutive Emmy Award nominations for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series," while the series was nominated for "Outstanding Comedy Series" in 2009. Harris was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2009 and 2010 in the category of "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television."
Thought Segal said he probably wouldn't do the show another season after his contract ends?
Yup, but they officially fired Carlos Estevez today and their monday night is looking pretty weak right now.
they should move big bang theory back to monday right now, so community will get more viewers
They should cancel Big Bang Theory and everything else associated with that awful jew Chuck Lorre.
well that works too I guess, the important thing was letting community be uncontested
