Better episode this week. Although no progress out of Ted, was nice to see progress out of Robin and Barney. Throughout the episode, based on the comments Barney made when he told Ted he and Robin were a couple, was concerned that they were gonna push the two of them together, but then the comment about Robin's crush at the end cleared away that concern for the most part. Saw the episode where they break up again last night and just can't see them being together and being happy. Hopefully that means more Nora soon.

I'm split on if Barney was talking about Nora or Robin. Remember at the beginning of the episode when Barney alludes to the fact that he was never happier than he was with Robin? Obviously the crush is going to have a story arc soon, but it doesn't preclude the possibility of her and Barney ending up together.

Yeah, the bit about being happiest when he was with Robin was what I was referring to. But having watched the episodes where Robin and Barney break up recently, I just can't seem them being together. They break up entirely because they are not happy together. Barney comes out and even says he's not happy being in a relationship with her. Since it seems Barney now wants a relationship, but having one with Robin would make him miserable, I'm really hoping they go the Nora route.

Does anyone else see them winding down the series sometime soon? All of the characters seem to be maturing out of the original type of set up. Barney is no longer the "single guy", Lily and Marshall are starting a family, and Ted is going to be finding his wife very soon. I can't see them going past one more season without hurting the legacy of the series.

Show has been renewed for two more seasons.

Side note I just barely finished catching up on the show. Started watching it a couple months ago, slowly been working my way up through the seasons. Truly enjoyed watching just about every episode, and it's probably the first time in a long time a show has genuinely gotten me to laugh out loud. I hope they don't go the route of Barney and Robin again and go with Nora instead, honestly the Barney+Robin arc was my least favorite part of the entire series.

What happened to the redesign of the Arcadian from the first time Ted met Zoey? If it's such a big to her that the building survive, why not bring that back? Seems like the simplest answer to all this -- although, if Barney goes through with demolishing the building, wonder where Ted will be standing..

The return of the cockamouse was pretty great; I just caught that episode as a rerun when I was channel surfing yesterday! The alcohol segments were the best though. It's the first time in a while this show's had me really laughing. (For me personally, it's rum that's off-limits.)

I get its a popular cliche about absinthe, but I've had absinthe and the reaction is nothing like that... why do writers keep exaggerating it?

Viewers can relate to that because it's what they believe it is like, they don't care if you'd had it and think it's different, the majority of the audience finds it humorous because absinthe is the 'hallucinogenic' alcohol.

Hurray, it's over -- which makes sense if the next episode is supposed to be a flash forward. Also, if the lion's heads were the only redeemable aspect of the Arcadian, seemed like GNB just needed to say they were gonna incorporate it into their building. But Barney having it in his bedroom is much cooler~

This was a funny episode. I normally don't laugh out loud at this show (my husband likes it so I watch it with him). This episode had me laughing however. The evil laughter was funny, as was the whole lion's head thing.

Zoe was such a pointless character. I hope they finally move onto meeting the mother.
