Nvm... its an account, but I still have to add a key to activate it. I assume its the account to save your existing character name.

I mounted the .iso and get a message asking me to update to Vista SP2, while I'm running Win7. That's a new one for me. Anyone else get that?

Nope, I just extracted the ISO using WinRar and went from there.

It just occurred to me. Playing XI, probably due to my router/ISP, I got pretty consistent DC's throughout the day. They ranged from 6~ over a 3 hour period to maybe just 1 in 12 hours, or even none for 24 hours(talking playing and afk bazaaring). Anyway, it seems to me I NEVER dc'd from XIV during beta. I think once or twice since phase two my R dropped to 0 but I didn't dc, instead I just lagged for a bit then everything worked again. I got tons of game errors but I think that was a bug. A friend of mine said that XI was probably the most stubborn game he has ever played as far as dc's go; any hiccup at all and you got booted. I also remember playing warhammer and never getting a dc unless my internet actually cut out. Any of you guys have a similar experience?

DK: Item repair is going to be an important element of gameplay. Sure, there are NPCs that manage that, but they only repair up to a certain percentage and charge accordingly. We wanted to draw them out of the cities and into the camps, so they can mingle and meet prospective customers.
