Actually, it's not that dying that is harder, it's the fact that creating the leather itself is a much higher synthesis than the recipes that use it. For example, making sheep leather from skin is like rank 7-8, but most of the sheepskin gears and parts have a much lower requirement. Taupe sheep leather uses the exact same ingredients as a regular sheep leather, other than the additional dye.
Wait, is the FF13 code unrelated to this code that gave me some BS "Members Points" several months back? Because that is the only code I can find. D:
I have registered 3 different copies of ffxiii to get this working. Xbox didn't work. The first copy of ps3 ffxiii just came with a normal registration code. The other copy of ffxiii had a similar looking piece of paper with a registration code, but when I registered it, it also gave me the 20 digit bonus code for the extra item. Hope that clears things up.
Some Gamestop employee just tried to convince me that the servers weren't going up until 8:00 am Pacific tomorrow. /sigh
Posting in this thread too
For people who dont want to math:
30 days = $9.99 (999 Crysta) + $3.00 (300 Crysta) = $12.99 (1,299 Crysta)
90 days = $26.97 (2,697 Crysta) + $9.00 (900 Crysta) = $35.97 (3,597 Crysta)
180 days = $47.94 (4,794 Crysta) + $18.00 (1,800 Crysta) = $65.94 (6,594 Cyrsta)
500 Crysta (USD 5.00)
1,000 Crysta (USD 10.00)
2,000 Crysta (USD 20.00)
3,000 Crysta (USD 30.00)
5,000 Crysta (USD 50.00)
10,000 Crysta (USD 100.00)
Note you dont need to buy 100$ worth of crysta to do 180 days, you can do 50 and 20.
Yearly Costs:
12 x $12.99 = $155.88 (Save $0)
4 x $35.97 = $143.88 (Save $12)
2 x $65.97 = $131.94 (Save $23.94)
Didnt have a phone to show them the website? lol
It's kinda funny how XIV will be cheaper than XI if you buy in bulk. And that's not even taking into account inflation since XI's launch. But XI never increased fees for inflation either. XIV is still a bargain however.
I'm so pissed. I did my order on Amazon the first hour it was up and it still hasn't shipped.
I think weapons are the worst, since there is really only one recipe for a weapon vs (usually) multiple ones for armor with respect to different dyed gear. Some gear is only available in two colors though, like that bone scale mail, and of course they didn't stick to just having everything 'undyed' as a staple. So being able to buy from vendors or get as a drop of mobs isn't always going to help you out.
Order just shipped. :]
for those who torrented it, how's patching going? I just started seems to be pretty fast at moments
Anyone's install freezing up at 50-75%? It TERRIBLY slows down my computer to the point of no function, forcing me to restart.
