I'm trying to disable the antivirus, see if that works.

It's true that crystals is the limiting factor, which apparently SE have noticed as well. However, even when vendored ores give the most sell back compared to a lot of items. I was selling obsidian at 20K-30K a piece. I think there was a modest market for silver as well. It's just the low grade stuff like copper, zinc and tin have almost no buyers. A lot of that is also due to the fact you can still mine copper from grade 3 nodes which I feel is a mistake.
Pricing system for € is complete bs :/ Apparently $1 = €1
For some strange reason when I signed up to POL and FFXI I had the option to pay in dollars even though it was a european version, milked that shit for all it's worth! Was a good few euro cheaper per month.
Haha I NPCed one of those in beta. I realised its value when I saw someone looking for one in a bazaar for 5000.
There's some good value items out there if you do your research. I'm not going to share my money making secrets though.
I really wish I could level mining and smithing instead of logging and wood, but the latter fits mage classes more. I just think the former will make more money in the long run. I suppose there's nothing stopping me taking all of them to 50 over time.
It drops from a mob too, no idea what dropped mine as I didn't know its value. But yeah you're right.
Oh right, im reminded that XIV comes with a free 30 day trial. But I seem to remember it's only free when you buy at least one month of service, right?
God the retards at Core, some people thought the servers are going online now, other's thinking people are already playing... I need to hurt myself for going there for anything else than news page.
all set up, just waiting on servers now. you buy the 1st month, and then get a credit back to your account. so $0 charge. but you must set it all up firsthope that helps
Im lvl 10 all ready.
Expecting server crash at 2:01 BST.
I don't have my copy so I get to sit and watch.
