Yes, and it's correct, but the pacific coast of the US is currently on PDT.

Day 1: ETA 9/22 (processing)
Day 2: ETA 9/23 (ship soon)

What is the effect of choosing the Astral Sun and Astral Moon thing when creating the character? I want to maximize whatever I can on character creation.

in rivatuner, i'm not finding anything that says "D3D Overrider", but I am seeing the "Enable refresh overrider", with a drop down menu next to it, this be the setting ?

D3D overrider is a separate program that gets installed along with Riva tuner, you have to open up the program D3D Overrider itself.

Can just play FFXIV in windowed mode and use shiftwindow to remove the frame, I had lots of screen tearing on my 50" plasma too and it removed them completly that way. Couldn't find the option he mentioned in revatuner either.

2.24c or whatever the latest version of it is on guru3d didn't install anything beyond rivatuner, where are you getting this magical version that comes with d3doverrider.. btw googling for 'd3doverrider download' brings up megaupload and rapidshare downloads, fuck that.

edit: lol, it doesn't 'install' d3doverrider. it's just an exe file. it's in the tools folder where you installed rivatuner. got it running now.
